This has to be the worst property experience of my trip to Arunachal Pradesh. In the beautiful town of Bomdila, it was big mistake to book this godforsaken place. Let me sum it up for you: - There was no electricity in Bomdila since 2 days due to a storm in Assam. The hotel has a generator but they don't use it (may be saving fuel). So they switched it on at 6.00 p.m and closed it down at 9.20 p.m. So just over 3 hours and that's all. We had to eat our dinner quickly so that we don't have to eat in darkness. The entire night there was no electricity. The staff doesn't even bother to say that this will be the case when you check in. They just don't care. They ran the generator for an hour or so in the mrng for the geyser to work. How thoughtful!! - Now talking about staff there are just 2-3 ppl. The reception is left unattended most of the time. One has to search for staff here. - There are no phones or room heaters in the property. We took an executive room. The bathroom had no shower! Unbelievable. - The breakfast is as usual (like in all properties in Arunachal) pathetic. Watery and spicy potato curry and puri, bread butter jam and boiled eggs. Again no eggs to order. One cant even ask for a simple omlet. Really really strange. ofcourse again no fruits or no juice. There is no one there in the restaurant to help you or assist you. You are on your own. - Bomdila it seems has many more properties, please do a check and avoid this godforsaken hotel. - Also this hotel is way from the main road and is located in bad shoddy path with garbage strewn in between and the road badly damaged.…
Depending on where you are coming from, you would be still tired by the journey for sure. We drove from Kaziranga to Bomdila. It was a tedious long journey. Reached in evening. So it was basically a transit room for our destination to Tawang. Location is ok. They have a restaurant and can make food arrangements. As in most parts of this side of country, you ought to let them know if you have any choices. But they tried to accommodate our Jain food requirements. Food is basically simple. Don't expect Gourmet food anywhere though. Breakfast can also be had. Simple breakfast. The rooms were all wooden paneled. It surely gets cold. Even though we were in May first week. It was chilly. Room heaters were needed else kids would have been uncomfortable. It was so cold that using the washroom was a task which we dreaded. :0) We had asked the owners to send us room images. What they sent and what we got was different. I am not complaining but just to mention that here in this town to get anything more decent would be a task. Expect everything to be basic. So in that regards its ok.…
I have booked hotel from 24/5/19 to 25/5/19, booked two deluxe rooms. Hotel offered stranded rooms on two different floor. After resolving given two other room on two different floors. Rooms are badly managed, dirty, and missing accessories. Food is very bad. Terrible services. Avoid this hotel .
Pathetic hotel. Please dont call it hotel its dharamshala. Property 2/5 Staff 2/5 Big no for veg and Jain people Food 3/5 Staff leaves d hotel reception unattended in night and returns only in morning. Ideally u r locked in hotel in night. Electricity is big issue generator is out of hotel nd cant be run frm insidefr vch staff is gone. Phones nt working. Very bad experience.
Should avoid this hotel. Basic amenities like water (including water at wash basin) not available. Electricity not there and even though they have 2 diesel generators they don’t start till the time you tell them twice. Will have to search for staff in the morning as no one is available at reception and even the main door is locked. Full program for the day gets effected and no one is seems to be bothered about it. Guests are at their mercy!! Should avoid at any cost !!
It's difficult to find this hotel when you enter Bomdila. Rooms are spacious but washrooms are small. Rooms are on names of flowers. With many stairs to climb up and down..and a small restaurant with courteous staff it needs a lot of upgradation and overhauling.
If you have other options to stay , please prefer that. This hotel is just a basic one , service is Not to fast . Prices are on the higher side. Food quality is Ok. Market is 10 minutes . Heater quality is poor as compared to room size. Running hot water is available. Washroom is not maintained , water seepage is there. Breakfast options are limited. Avoid room nos starting with 300 series . They are terrible.
There is nothing much to say about this hotel. Can not be even a a transit halt. Avoid unless you dont have any options. We stayed for one night and it was very difficult to stay even for those few hours.
Terrible terrible place.when we checked in so t room n toilet it was so bad that we checked out immediately n had to travel 30 kms to dirang to stay in a hotel there.terrible experience. Our money was gone but just couldn't think of staying there
We stayed here for one night break journey from Tawang to Tezpur. Only staff member is courteous. But rooms at ground floor are too dingy and dirty. Not at all properly maintained. And at same time price is not so low. Dining area is good with a valley view and food is good too. Better options are there at same price in Bombdila ...
