Neatly tucked away in the jungles of Devarayanadurga with the idyllic backdrop of it's craggy cliffs, our campsite is an excellent blend of rustic wilderness and creature comforts! At a measly 70 kms from Namma Bengaluru, our campsite is a perfect getaway for nature lovers, trekking enthusiasts, bird watchers, history buffs, stargazers or people who just want to put their feet up and take a break from their dreary urban life. DevarayanaDurga state forest - DDSF (the first one to be declared so in Karnataka) is home to over 250 species of birds and is one of the last known havens for the endangered Yellow Throated Bulbul. The forest also has a healthy population of wild boars, chitals and Sambars. The cluster of granite hills and the dry and moist deciduous forests that surround our campsite is replete with trek routes, erstwhile hunting trails and beautiful wetlands waiting to be explored!

The experience was not good. Lunch was good at arrival. Staff was inhospitable. There is one caretaker named Rinku who is least bothered. 2 frogs and 1 rat inside tent in night - No one to ask for help

We had our first glamping experience here and it was just perfect! A great place to spend time with nature. They organised bonfire and a small morning trek. They also serve great home made food. You can go either with your family or friends and you will just love the experience.

Me and my friend visited this campsite surrounded by hills which is quite close to Bangalore. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The drive to the place was smooth all the way except for the last 200 - 300 meters will be quite challenging for cars with low ground clearance, but there is space to park before this stretch. The food was homely , delicious and just perfect. The tents were clean and spacious. Tip: Ask for the tents with the mountain view while booking. The high tea view point sunset is beautiful. The staff is so so courteous. Special mention to Deepak and Vinay for taking such good care of us. We had the most amazing time here !!!💯 It's the perfect spot for anyone looking to simple unwind.

The Nomad's Camps – Devarayanadurga nestled in heavens adobe. The camp offers a perfect place to destress, detox, and re-energies in the lap of nature – all you hear is Peacocks teasing and sounds of nature. The camp offers crafted/customized tents that suit couples and families alike. The tent is equipped with comfortable beds and washrooms – one truly gets to experience camping life. For experienced campers, The Nomad’s have a dedicated place for them to camp. Our 2-night stay at The Nomad felt like a family reunion - that is how good Benak and Sandeep, founders of Nomadic Soul, and their team were. Benak and Sandeep enthralled kids and guests with the history of Devarayanadurga and the best of their biking trips. Special shoutout to ever-smiling, jovial, loveable Manjanna. He took us on an amazing trek of Penukonda Fort - Highly Recommend it (weather permitting). The next best part of the camp is watching the sunset between 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The day ends with a campfire with light music. The home cooks serve delicious home-cooked food all day. Truly Enchanted! I would highly recommend The Nomad's camp to everyone.

It’s beautiful scenic place with comfortable washrooms. The trail to reach this place is kind of off-roading which is pretty cool for bikers as well for hikers for a short hike to the place. The home made food is really tasty and the people we interacted with over there were really cordial. Nice place to visit and de-stress yourself 😁😁

I went along with my friends recently, its not like many campsites, its all luxurious swiss tents with attached washrooms. Food is all home cooked and so so yummy. They also have Bbq and bonfire. And those who love to trek can trek up to the DD hills top. They also organise night treks on full moon nights. They also provide fun board games and books for us to read in each tent. Its eco friendly and plastic usage is minimal. We can wake up to amazing bird sounds and the place will be covered with fog early morning. My favourite place to chill is on the rock in the property which is easy to climb. If you plan to visit please don't trash the place with plastic. Best time to visit is in winters or during monsoon.
