The hotel is possibly your best bet near Tinsukia. To start off let me highlight the downsides. Location is too far off and you are left cut off from the city. Staff is negligent to mask use though they did use masks while visiting our rooms when we alerted them. Rooms are large. Villa is definitely recommended. The property is surrounded by tea estates and you can walk into them throughout the day. Food is moderately good. Staff is polite and well-mannered

Spent two nights at Padmini Resrt with my family on a brief holiday. Very good resort, well maintained, food was also good. Because of the pandemic restrictions most of the leisure activities were suspended, but with all the facilities the resort is offering, it is no doubt a lovely family destination for holidays to the upper Assam and the adjoining Arunachal circuit. The Dibru-Saikhow wildlife sanctuary is also just nearby.

On my way to Sadia , one night stopover at Padmini Resort with my family. Good Resort but a bit expensive considering the place. Staff in the desk are not that cooperative including the manager . Not even bothered to send their guest back. Room was specious pleasant. Ample of space in the resort. Play area is there for children. Food was good. Although we took Chinese dishes.

Had visited the restaurant today with family and friends. The property seemed poorly maintained. The restaurant was small but clean. Washrooms were decently clean. We had ordered Chinese dishes as well as Indian. The Chinese food was pretty decent and portions reasonable. The Indian food we ordered were tandoori chicken and So called Hyderabadi dum biryani . The tandoori chicken was good but the biryani.. yuck. We ordered two plates of biryani and both not just tasted different but looked totally different. One was greenish colour while the other was yellow. Very oily, small pieces of chicken, no raita alongside and no resemblance to any sort of biryani ever. Trust me I love biryani and have tasted enough biryani to know about. Avoid biryani at all costs. Costs are moderate and service is ok.

Not many good places for good food in and around Tinsukia, but we found Padmini Resort on Guiajan road as a good option for food. The menu card is not too long, but most of the dish on card are delicious. Thanks to the Chef who has been working at such a remote place with lot of creativity.

Group of 7 birdwatchers from the UK, all very experienced travellers. Like hotels all over India, the owners built this place and thought that the spending stops there - but it doesn't: money has not been spent on maintenance and the place now looks tired. The state of the snooker table had us in hysterics. And like other hotels in India, the management of the place is non-existent. Negatives: the website claims there is a swimming pool: we arrived after a long dusty journey looking forward to a swim, only to find the pool empty bar 5 centimetres of muddy water. No explanation was vouchsafed for this state of affairs. I know this is rural India, but if the place is offering wifi, why on earth is it shut off at night ? absolutely infuriating: impossible to get wifi before 8:30, when someone finally turned up who knew how to restart the server. Positives: we had great food everywhere we went in Assam, but the Padmini was the tops: there was some sort of cream cheese kofta which was simply divine - and the young lad acting as waiter was a star, nothing was too much trouble: he got all our tips. I wanted to only give 3 stars, the great food made me up it by one.

Located on the highway a very well maintained property. We were there for a rotary confernce. The resort has very good rooms and the service is also very good. They have a well stocked bar and restaurant. Food quality is also good. Takes about 20 min to reach the main town. However the pool is not functional at all. Overall a very pleasant stay for a family trip.

This is a nice resort in the middle of the countryside with beautifully kept grounds. There are rooms and cottages to stay and a small restaurant. There aren't any activities within the resort, but the Brahmaputra river is nearby where you can take boat rides or even go on a houseboat tour to the nearby Dibru-Saikhowa wildlife sanctuary. We had lunch at the restaurant. The food was good though a little spicy, mostly north Indian and Chinese dishes with no local content. Overall the place is clean and well maintained and good value for money.
