I and a few of my friends had a chance to visit a sleepy village in Pathanamthitta District by name Aranmula, which is also declared as a historical village by the Union of India. It is the place where the Aranmula metal mirrors are made and is the abode of Lord Krishna on the banks of the holy River Pampa....

I am an roaming Chartered Accountant and now with tax audit work completed I required complete peace and rest. I have heard of so called 'home stays' but Malakkarethu House really is a home away from home. First class location, very near the Parthasarathy temple, and the Pamba river flowing behind the homestay. Excellent spring board for Aranmula boat festival,...

We stayed one night at the house and were made very welcome by our host who also took us on a fascinating tour of local sites, with the advantage of being able to discuss things in depth in English. The house is an oasis of calm and refreshingly cool after the hot and dusty streets and the home cooked food...

This is a great place to stay in Aranmula. We were here for the traditional Snake Boat Races and the hosts made our stay unforgettable. The house overlooks the banks of the river. Sujatha and her brother Ravi treated us as family and the staff was very helpful. The food was great Keralan traditional fare. 100% recommended.

Its a huge house rather than a full service hotel. The place which is located is nearby Aranmula temple. There is small restaurant is located nearby this 'house' and will get Breakfast,Lunch & Dinner from there in cheap price.
