The Northern Lights, Lapland and a lodge have all been on my bucket list - so when our Travel Counsellor suggested a 4 night trip to the Davvi Arctic Lodge - we gave it a go. We could not have picked a better spot. It was everything we had hoped for. Quaint; rustic; food was great (I don't get some...

My husband took me for a 'significant' birthday treat and we just don't recognise the really negative comments on here. Yes, the cabin we stayed in (No 3) could do with some TLC as far as the bathroom is concerned, but other than that it was exactly as we expected. The cabin was really warm and had room service every...

4 friends celebrating 50th birthdays. Accommodation good but the rating is for the staff and all the activities on offer, cannot fault the holiday and everything ran like clockwork. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this for a winter holiday, we loved the husky sled and the snow mobiles.

This is a great place for a short winter break to enjoy the snow and get great chances to see the Northern Lights in a remote location with very little or no light pollution to spoil the view. The arranged activities were great and varied, the staff are friendly, the accommodation was basic but clean and good and the food...

Just returned from a stay at the Davvi Arctic Lodge and had the most amazing time! Although the majority of reviews on here are excellent and very good I was still a little worried about what to expect. Check in was very quick and we were provided with food even though we arrived after dinner had finished. There was always...

Stayed here in February 2017 and can endorse the very positive reviews already supplied. No point in repeating the finer details other than to say we stayed in the Fell cabins, 2 or 3 minutes walk from the main hotel. Although a little tired it was clean, well heated with comfortable beds, a small shower room and a lounge(forget the...

This was an amazing four days in the beautiful frozen countryside of Finland. The accommodation was basic, but clean and warm. There was always hot water. The Fell Lodges could have done with a bit of updating, but it did not really matter. The food was plentiful and hot and the variety good. The activities were fantastic. We all loved the snow...

The stay was marred by the wet room which did not drain properly and was impossible to use the toilet or hand basin without standing in water so had to spend more time pushing the water down the drain than showering. Made worse by the by the complete indifference oif the hotel and lack of interest by the TRANSUN representative....

We have just returned from the Davvi Artic Lodge and travelled as a family of three (our son is 10)for four nights. This was our first snow holiday so we had no ideal what to pack, what we would need etc. When travelling all you need is warm clothing. I travelled in jeans, thermal socks, walking boots a jumper and...

My wife, 13 year old daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights in Feb 2017. We booked through Transun. We stayed at the Davvi Wooden Cabins, which are separate from the main hotel building and are located a short walk away, surrounded by trees. Our room was basic, but warm, clean and had everything we needed (including tea/coffee making)....
