I stayed at this B&B in early September, was holidaying solo. I really enjoyed my stay there - the place is very neat and tidy and very well looked after by the owners Colin and Christine. I enjoyed their company, they were very helpful. My opinion - it's the best accommodation on West Island from what I seen and it is very close to the shops and restaurants.

An untouched paradise - a must do holiday. Be sure to stay at 96 east - everything you need us there. Neat and tidy and serviced daily, all the little extras you need - Wifi , beautiful breakfast and a hop skip and jump from everything. Colin is available with lots of handy local information and the buggy is a bonus for island discovery !

I booked six months in advance , albeit had to change the dates. Colin confirmed with me that I was booked on the dates I specified via email. I arrived to be put in the spare bedroom with 2 single beds as it was double booked. We attempted to get alternate accommodation , however had no choice. The visitor centre mentioned this was not the first time this had happened. As the week wore on and speaking to others, I began to believe this was done on purpose to gain double payment. I negotiated the price down to 300 a night which was outrageous considering the cirmcustances and that I would pay when arriving back in Perth. I had a phone call with a threatening message at 3pm after arriving at 1am that morning that I had 'better pay'. Very unhappy with the way I've been treated and Colin should have a think about his booking habits and how he speaks to people which has resulted in this review. Chris

We had such a relaxing stay here. The accommodation is without doubt the best on the island and the only place that offers bed and breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble they give you not only an island tour but also complimentary use of their buggy which means you don't have to hire a car. A lovely big verandah right on the beach with a million dollar view. What more could you ask for?

NinetySixEast is the BEST accomodation on the island. It’s location is perfect, directly in front of the beach & close to the centre. Mr Colin & Christine are wonderful hosts. Very informative & serve a great breakfast with the spectacular ocean view & daily weather report. The buggy is so fun & you will be the envy of every tourist on the island. Thank you for looking after me & allowing me to stay. I had a wonderful time & my trip to Cocos wouldn’t have been possible without your wonderful service.
