We booked a weekend at casa magel for our 15 year wedding anniversary. Didn't know what we was getting really or the area, just thought haven't been to this part of Spain yet. We ended up with an amazing weekend, when we arrived at Casa Magel we was set back with how beautiful the house was set in lovely landscaped...

Hola, This is our 3rd visit in the last 12 months to Casa Magel.. Always a very warm welcome, clean and great value too. Maggie and Elio are great hosts. The rooms are very homely and comfortable and dog friendly too. Great facilities and the food is excellent. Plenty of tapas bars and local village is only 15 minute walk....

Stayed at Casa Magel fora 2-night break which included one evening meal. We were met by hosts Maggie and Elio having first visited El Torcal not all that far from Casa Magel. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already booking our next trip bringing more family to this absolutely beautiful place. The hospitality is amazing as are the hosts Maggie and Elio. Stayed recently for 2 nights with my girlfriend on there 100 Euro deal with a 3 course dinner on one of the nights and bottle of wine thrown in. Simply excellent value,great food, wonderful attentive hosts. Very Clean room. Nice touches of yesteryear. Bed a little hard for my liking but still slept like a log in any case. If...

 This is a couple run business set in a beautiful location. Maggie and Elio can't do enough for you to make you relax in their family home. Food is home cooked and very good. Casa Magel is a little gem with fantastic hosts in Maggie and Elio, great food, very comfortable room, even our dog enjoyed his stay there with us. A trip to the stunning lakes at Ardales is definitely recommended if you stay here as well as walking the Camino del Rey
