We'd our honeymoon at Tall Tree Resorts Munnar. The property is awesome with great landscapes and comfy room. Their staffs were cooperative and courteous. The facilities are very good as well. We'd best experience there inspite of Covid 19. TTR had made arrangements for sanitizers, masks etc inside rooms and common areas. Food (Dinner & Lunch) requires a little improvement but the breakfast spread was good. We enjoyed the foosball and other games very much.

What makes this resort exceptional is the beautiful natural environs and the extremely courteous staff. The staff here is enthusiastic in arranging various activities for the guests like sunset walk and morning fitness walk in the nearby tea gardens and nature walk within the resort. What took the cake for me was the tea tasting session arranged in the afternoon. As the name implies, tall native trees abound in the resort and birds are aplenty. I spotted three Malabar squirrels frolicking in a tree nearby our cottage and our guide pointed out another one during our nature walk. If you are a lover of nature, this has to be one of the best places to stay in Munnar. The road leading to the resort is newly tarred, so driving there wasn't a hassle.

We 4 families stayed here for 2 nights and we all are happy about the place and services they offered. Kids will enjoy for sure as they have enough (safe) place to pay around.
Location: The roads are not good but it wont create any issues for small /large vehicles. Its only 4 kms and there are maintenance works going on, hope roads will be ready soon.
Property: It feels like you are in a jungle. Lot of trees and different types of flowers are in this beautiful property. You will surely enjoy the space.
Restaurant and Food: Restaurant is situated on top side of their property. But you can call the reception and they will provide a cab to reach the restaurant. You can also use two side ways to reach the restaurant. Food is good and they have room service available. We had breakfast and dinner from the restaurant and they are good.
*Biriyani is average and please do check with them before you order any beef items.
*Porotta is not good as it is not properly tossed.
Children’s Play Area : They have a spacious kids play area with couple of slides. Kids will really like as they have enough space to play around.
Club house: They have a space near to the restaurant which is for TT, carom, chess and foose ball table.
Rooms: we stayed the room no: 601 and it is commodious with a spacious balcony. Rooms are well maintained and hot water is available without any trouble.
Room Tips: Not every room has a wide and spacious balcony as similar to us(601). Other’s has a balcony but not roomy like us. If you want a spacious balcony as shown in the picture attached, please do check with them before you book. Please do book rooms on top side since they have better views and you can enjoy the mist.
Parking: They have parking available but its not like a big parking ground. You can park you vehicle anywhere in the property without any issues.

We had a very excellent stay in Tall Trees resort. From the reception till we left, the staffs treated us very well the location and environment is too good, good is excellent.the arrangements made to maintain social distance ,frequent hand washing facility are done very well the staff need special mention for their courteous behaviour. Overall we enjoyed our stay, planning to revisit the same resort soon.

Staying at Tall Trees was an amazing experience. Nestled among the beautiful trees, hills,the tea estate and of course the white mountain mist - provides a surreal experience which is one of a kind! The rooms are impeccably maintained, the Staffs are the best, very good swimming pool that was temperature controlled and the food was too delicious. I would say it's a perfect stay for a getaway where you can savour the nature and be in peace and tranquility. Highly recommended

Place will give u the feel of a forest beautiful location. Staffs are very courteous. Most of the food ordered to room were delicious. Complimentary Breakfast was normal nothing luxurious with good service from restaurant staffs.
Pro and cons
Rooms need bit maintenance especially toilet- some fittings were loose , Floor mats need a shampooing etc.
Bit hard for older people to climb as the restaurant is on top of the hill - but hotel offer a pick up service.
There was power interruption few times but resumed in couple of minutes.Emergency battery driven lanterns were discharged.
There was no Mini fridge available in Mint villa I’m. Not sure on the other villas.
Villa was not air conditioned but even in summer the climate was very pleasant say 18 to 24 deg.
Pool was clean Play areas were good. They need to upgrade the Table tennis racket basket ball etc which are really worn out.
Spa was small not luxurious but staff were very courteous.
Cellphone range available only on selected spots. WiFi connection provided by hotel free of charge.

Superb place !! One of the best resort I have visited till now. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. From the balcony, we could view the natural trees and feel the cool breeze. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. very good place to relax and chill. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. With gym. Play areas ..and their foods were awesome .and especially guys in restaurant .they were simply amazing. Hats off they deserve 5 star🏅!! how can i miss out taking Mr JIJO JOHN name, who played important role in making our life every comfortable. since i am over weight, i requested him to allot us the rooms close to the restaurant, he immediately upgraded [free of cost ] & also gave us a vehicle to move around in the property. i am really thankful to Mr. Jijo John, the restaurant staff & again the main Chef.

We loved everything about this resort. We were a group of 14, ages between 9 and 82. The cottages were really lovely, modern, working aircon, and amazingly not any mozzies. A lot of the group enjoyed the early morning walk through the tea plantations. Some used the spa and enjoyed their treatments, the spa was running behind on time so I didnt have time to have the massage I had booked for me and my husband. The restaurant served up a good selection of foods, all fresh and there was something for everyone. We were also able to take our own champagne and drinks to dinner with us. The jeep ride to the resort is a bit bumpy but well worth it.

Our rooms are not air conditioned and the temperature during April will be pleasant and day time it will be around 26* to 27* and night temp will be 17 to 18*c.

Hi, Inside the resort we are not having an option for cycling... but we can arrange the same through the mountains of Munnar for which the cycle can be hired from the adventure tour operators.
