I had the best time here at Parakkat Resort travelling Munnar. The service of all employees is outstanding, especially Morgan made my dinners at the restaurant a highlight each day. The view from the hotel is amazing, no matter if sunrise or sunset, you will always have a good view of the mountains. The rooms are very clean and follow a high standard regarding how they are equipped.

We got the twin bed interconnected suite for 6 friends. Wonderful set of rooms with a breathtaking view. Staff was very friendly too. The pool was great as well. We couldn't make the most of al the facilities they provided but we had a lovely time over all. The breafast buffet had a very wide variety of food and was delicious as well.

Excellent Resort with a very helpful staff, beautiful view, and some amazing food!!! The location of the resort is always from the city. All hotel rooms have Mountain View and they have dedicated area even for kids!

This is in no way close to a 5-star property as they claim it to be and it is years away from becoming one! This property gets into the news by using new influencers from time to time to tide over the bad reviews on websites. We were one of the misfortunate ones who took the inspiration from a 2-minute insta reel and landed there for 3 nights. First impression: As soon as you enter the reception you will know that you're in for a different kind of experience, the designers have done over-the-top decor probably drawing inspiration from the Trump Towers! Gold, Gold & more Gold everywhere. The gaudy decor of the rooms, the gangway, and the reception. Just a show of wealth without any taste! It all doesn't go well together! The lift doesn't go to all floors so if you have elderly or unfit people, they are going to be disappointed. Checkin: The reception staff lacks basic courteousness, empathy or any basic etiquette to say the least. We had reached 1:30, and the room wasn't ready which is okay; but the folks at the reception didn't even want to start with the basic formalities or even offer lunch which was in our package. Food / Restaurant: If you're from the north of India, you will hate the food served at the restaurant. They could not even make softer idlis. While they were good at making some Chinese and pasta dishes and coffee very well. The lemon coriander tested like a curry! They serve fresh juices or even milkshakes in the morning, which are so high in sugar! We had been to more than 8 times at this restaurant, during our stay sometimes the glasses were missing, sometimes the cutlery, sometimes the tissue paper. Ever seen such thing in a 5 Star? The restaurant staff is much better and slightly more cordial than others that you see. Special thanks to Madhu from the Restaurant! Room: You're in for more surprises when you get in the room! Inside the room, you will find torn curtains, mould in the bathroom, tacky colored room lights. We had white torn drapes in one of the rooms and this room was open from 2 sides, no blackout curtains, I mean really! The room gets hot quickly in 2 hours and remains that way for the rest of the day. I must say, depending on the location, you may have amazing views of the tea gardens. That's a huge saving grace! Apart from this there is nothing positive about this place. Checkout: We called multiple times from 7 AM on the day of checkout asking my bill to be ready they showed no interest. Finally, I called them around 8:45 AM to request for luggage assistance and check on the mini bar! But no one showed up even after 45 minutes, we dragged our bags ourselves and brought them 2 floors up near the lift from where the housekeeping took it to the car! Again at the reception counter, the folks wouldn't just prepare the bill saying the minibar wasn't checked, they swiped my card when I told them what was used which I had already told them at 7 AM when I called the first time. Stay miles away from booking this location, after this review you will see a Tsunami of good reviews to boost the rating once again and to contradict this review. Puzzle: From the time you enter the hotel, you will see old magazines with a couple of photos from reception to your room following you. You solve this puzzle on your own. If you still land here, don't blame yourself, perhaps this is your Karma! What else! Signing off!…

It was a great experience a stay for 3 nights in Parakkat Resort Munnar. All the staffs are courteous and well mannered. The restaurant Spice Merchant was awesome. Quality and tasty food.
