Our 4th family visit to Village Farm - should say it all really. Excellent accommodation and facilities as ever but our new discovery this time was the Breamish Valley Hill Fort walk - must be one of the most beautiful places in England. We enjoy having such a great base at Shilbottle from which to explore this amazing area.

The holiday was just perfect. This was the first time that my daughter two lovely boys aged 3 and 4 and I had ventured to visit Northumberland and we could not have wished for a more fabulous place to stay. The boys went swimming in the lovely, clean indoor spa pool almost every day - it's calm, atmosphere and safe,... More

We have just had the most fantastic short break away in Brooks Cottage with our 3 month old baby. Such a fantastic properly, luxury finish furnishings, everything you could possibly need and in a lovely village location. The health club/spa was an added bonus, as was the bottle of wine and cake awaiting our arrival. The nearby Indian restaurant was... More

What a find. Lovely sparkly clean chalet/lodge. Wheelchair access was great for Dad. 3 nice size bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Lovely open plan lounge kitchen diner. A great location for visiting Alnwick castle and gardens. Loads of beaches to choose from nearby. The swimming pool was fantastic mainly because I had it to myself many times! There is a sauna... What a wonderful place. Stayed in the farm house, 6 adults and 3 children for a week at half time. Farm house had everything you could possibly need plus more. Lovely and clean with plenty of room for everyone. Excellent and well equipped kitchen. 4 beautifully decorated en-suite bedrooms. The weather wasn't very good but no one cared with all... More

We stayed at Pantile cottage in 2015 and had such a great time we booked again for this year and were not disappointed. It is very rare that we come back to the same location yet alone the same cottage. The wine and cake left for guests is a great opener, the cottage facilities are second to non and the... More

Excellent facilities at the Health Club up to date and clean. Well placed to visit lots of lovely quiet beaches. Plenty of castles enjoyed Alnwick and Chillingham. Alnwick gardens well worth a visit. Tree house really unusual.

We stayed in Farriers View cottage. It was absolutely lovely and exactly as described. The amenities in the cottage were excellent. Four bedrooms each with own en-suite and open walk in shower. Everything you need for a week of self catering was provided. The pool, spa, facilities that we had access to were just wonderful. The location was perfect -... More

Myself and my husband spent our second holiday in Murrayfields cottage. It's a beautiful cottage and in a lovely quiet area. Just across the field is the spa/pool area which is totally free (unless you want beauty treatments) and each time we've been in the pool it has been empty apart from another person. The jacuzzi is absolutely wonderful. We... More

We booked the farmhouse to accommodate 3 different familes totalling 9 people to celebrate a 90th birthday. The great benefits of this farm were the attached spa which included the swimming pool, sauna, gym, etc, which allowed children to go and chill out at the end of their day, its proximity to Alnwick Castle & Gardens which were superb, and...
