A fabulous stay. Tracey and Neil are lovely hosts and welcomed us with fresh cake to have with our cup of tea. They are very knowledgeable about the area and told us about good places to have dinner as well as great places to visit. Our family room was really comfortable and roomy with a lovely view over the countryside.... More

Stayed at this lovely B+B when heading north to Edinburgh. Just off the main A1 but no traffic noise heard from front of house, down-stairs room. Comfortable 5foot double bed in clean, reasonable-sized room. Warm welcome at breakfast from host Tracey + delicious food cooked by Neil (I think he's the cook, anyway!) Voucher given to us for local Alnwick... More

Brilliant communication and friendliness, and that was before we turned up.... Even though we turned up early Neil was soon on hand and had us in our room in no time. The Coach House is perfectly placed for exploring the surrounding area (which is amazing),and as an added bonus we could watch Housemartins zipping in and out of their nests outside... More

We stayed here for three nights with 4 friends and the accommodation was excellent. The bedrooms and showers were first class and the breakfast was as good as any 4 star hotel we have stayed in. Tracey and Neill were very helpful with information about the local amenities and the fresh milk and cake/biscuits were a lovely touch.

My partner and I stayed 4 nights for a short holiday. Neil and Tracey provide a warm and friendly welcome and you soon feel part of the family. With only 3 rooms you bond very quickly with your fellow guests over the best cooked breakfast I have ever had. The hog roast sausages were amazing! The Coach House is very... More

A warm welcome and first class customer service from Tracey & Neil. We stayed the night before my daughter's wedding at Doxford Barn and Tracey helped with the finishing touches to the wedding dress (she is a former wedding dress designer) and Neil was most accommodating, allowing us to charge up our electric car overnight (charge point in Alnwick out...
