Lovely chateau that is a great place to relax. Beautiful pool that I thoroughly enjoyed swimming in and grounds around the pool are very welcoming. The restaurant is a real treat, great dinner for 63 euros each. Breakfast is twenty euros per person and lots of good choices. We were in room 106, very large with stunning view of alps...

We saw eight rooms in this place, all filthy hovels with dirty stained carpets and ancient furniture and squalid bathrooms, till the front desk guy finally showed us Room 104. This is the ONLY decent room in the hotel – don’t accept any substitutes! Room 104 is lovely and very, very big with windows looking onto gorgeous greenery. Generally, this...

I chose the hotel because it was in the Michelin Guide where it gets a "medium" rating, but in fact this place is quite luxurious. It is a bit off the beaten track and I was worried that the satnav was playing up but when we arrived we were delighted with the place. We had been given an enormous suite,...

Overall it was a great experience BUT the service was not up to the standard on 2 occasions during this busy week-end (Pentecote). We arrived on Sunday afternoon and got an excellent welcome service. Very nice and professional. Although we booked a 'Prestige' room (1 night), since we were travelling with our young boy, we got a room upgrade to...

We booked a one night stay here on our way down to Itay. It was going to be a bit of luxury! When we arrived we had been upgraded to a suite which was amazing! The room had everything you would need. The hotel has lovely grounds and a swimming pool. We ate in the restaurant which was amazing but...

As we are passionate winter sporters, we are lucky to take advantage of regular stops at the chateau in winter. And as the summers are stunning in Savoy and there are as many outdoor activities to keep you fit and occupied, we take advantage again in summer and the autumn. It's a wonderful setting amongst a small vineyard looking onto...

Gorgeous spot this, right up on a hill overlooking Old Chambery, big French chateau with vineyards in the grounds. First thing to say is that the Orangery Restaurant was properly good - one of the best meals I've had in France in a while. And the slight lack of facilities in the rooms (my shower was a bit Heath Robinson,...

We just had an overnight stay here on Saturday night and quite enjoyed it. The inn is located on a hill north of city centre, so it offers peace and quiet but not convenience to town. Nice to retreat to. We took advantage of their promotion and had a bed and breakfast rate of 99e, which was fantastic value. We...

Beautiful, beautiful room. For some reason we got a better deal at the hotel's website than other booking sites, 89 Euro a night, no breakfast included. The city is a jewel and the hotel itself is very charming. My young daughter was enchanted we were at a castle. The restaurant is on the expensive side and requires a reservation, but...

We had a one day stay with one of our grown up sons. The building is very nice, a real chateau and the place is also very nice with wonderful views. Arrived by car, plenty of space to park. The staff was very helpful and nice as they were in all our e-mails contacts. The room for the three of...
