The staff is polite. The view from the sea facing cottage is amazing. The cottage is very minimalistic. The food is simple. The sit out is comfortable and the sunrises, sunsets, walks on the beach and boat cruises make this holiday memorable.
Nice stay at Agonda. Cottages on the beach. Few things to point out: 1. There is no ceiling fan in any room. If the weather is hot, it's difficult to stay without ceiling fan. The one stand fan which is provided that also has very slow speed. Please improve this area. 2. Before guests will come it's good to provide water beforehand in the room. When I asked the staff over there, he gave it quickly but it's good practice to provide before guests will come. 3. There is no place to put your clothes in the washroom. There should be some hooks/hangers to put your clothes, towel etc. This is basic in a washroom. Also, washrooms are bit small in some of the cottages. Please take care of this problem asap at all the cottages. 4. The front two AC rooms are very good with amazing sea views. 5. More plug points should be added in each cottage. Otherwise, at least extension cord should be provided at each room before guests will come. Advice: Please try to put AC in all the rooms. In Goa, weather is very hot in the morning time in all seasons. Without AC, it's very difficult to stay on the beach cottages. Staffs are good, well behaved. Till late night, they provided food service. Pinacolada you must try there. A good place to chill peacefully. Recommended for both couple and friend's group. Allover good experience!! :)…
What an amazing place with budget No regret of choosing this place Just next to the beach Staff team is so helpful and always smiling Loved the vibe of this place Everything is near by like many restaurants and market Looking forward to stay again for longerrrrr
Book only if you are willing to get disappointed on your holiday trip. Booked the sea facing room via booking.com with a valid confirmation. Also Confirmed my arrival via phone call with the management. Reached the property on time but our check in was denied by the hotel management as they sold our room to some other customer. Very disappointed with the unprofessional and unacceptable behaviour. NOT RECOMMENDED
Fantastic and helpful with my concerns. Hugely appreciated. Would recommend this lovely place to anyone keen on a short break on Agonda beach. Amazing sunset tops off a fantastic weekend. Lovely food too
Great little cottages on the tranquil north end of Agonda beach. They are run by a lovely couple who also arranged a taxi from Goa airport. Good value for money and clean. No complaints. Will definitely return
When we first arrived to Arya cottage, we were planning to stay for 3 nights. We ended up staying for 2 weeks and we wished we could stay more. The owners, Jay and his wife but also the staff are very nice, helpful and friendly. The huts are big and tidy, the ones facing the sea are really nice. We enjoyed sitting in the balcony and watching the dolphin that comes almost everyday morning and evening close to the shore. There's also a government turtle nursery at around 15min walk where the olive Ridley turtle eggs holes are protected from animals in a closed area until the hatching time. Wifi is very good and the location is perfect :close to the main road and all the shops. Definitely recommend it !!!
WORST place to stay in agonda beach!!was totally mislead by the some good reviews.trust me ,the place is terribly disappointing.we had booked 2 sea facing rooms and had spoken to the owner n confirmed them.on arriving we realised Arya cottages has only one sea facing cottage and that the owner wasn't being honest with us.we were given another room instead.the rooms were poorly maintained.bed spread was dirty.the bathroom didn't have hot water which was promised.the resort staff , refused to give hot water in buckets too.the breakfast service was bad.overpriced rooms with irritable and rude staff.the last place one should stay in agonda.avoid this place .OVERALL EXTREMELY UNHAPPY EXPERIENCE.there are much better huts and resorts on this beautiful beach to make ur trip amazing.
We were staying at this place for 4 nights and in overall it was really pleasant, even if the huts are really basic cause selfmade. The staff is really solicitous, even if they could show a bit more sense of cleanliness. In the 4 nights not a single time our room was cleaned, not even the trascan was emptied. Its not our job to claim that. Jay, the ownwr is a really straight person, who tries to help where he can (when he is there). Generally, the place could be improved with no big effort, just a little attention to detail. As for example, umbrellas for the sun chairs, some nicer chairs for the beach dinner, maybe a bbq sometimes, some decoration in the room and for the beach restaurant. The food is delicious, also when the menu offers not so much and is kept simple (sometimes better). You have to try the Palak Paneer and the Aloo Gobi, what are excellent! Just for breakfast there is not so much of variety. A good healthy porridge or muesli would be good.…
Staff very kind. Perfect location in agonda beach. Very spacious rooms, large shower rooms. Clean beds. Beautifull veranda. I recommend it's beautifull and value for money . The beach is clean and the atmosphere is very peacefull
