The best part of our stay was the location. The hotel has cottage style rooms. The room was cosy. The service is great with Carol, Sailesh, Pratik & Ratnakar taking good care of your needs. The bar is well stocked & there is ample stuff on the food menu. For the room, we took the elevated balcony room which had a beautiful view of the beach from the deck. The bathroom was below average with a lingering smell. Also, the room shook up whenever someone walked on the balcony. But the beach was a few steps away which made up for it! The restaurant needs a few improvements, most importantly fans, as it can get really hot during the day. The entire Agonda beachfront faces plenty of powercuts and so there’s a lot of power fluctuation. But all in all, it is a good place to stay & can become a great one, with just a few improvements.

Awesome place to stay. The rooms are exactly the same the one that we booked. Ratna and Sailesh were always there for anything. They even decorated our room for the day. Lovely place. Always recommended.

Booked this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights. Bad points first I booking it with complementary breakfast for that it self I paid 480rs per person/ day. And after reaching there realised it was biggest mistake I made. The food here was pathetic. Second thing . waiter used to come for breakfast order and we used to start with coffee or tea. As to Chef/waiter was very slowly so we used to order multiple things at one go out of which except coffee everything was tasteless. Cut to The day when we checked out of the hotel while bill settlement we were shocked to see that even breakfast item which we had been billed to us to.On asking we were told that only one item was part of our deal even if we take 2 coffees that 2 we were charged. Ok things The room was okay there was AC and 2 beds available. There were no toiletries available to ask for them even know water bottles, no fridge. WiFi was damn slow most of the time we used to get around one Mbps speed. Receptionist and cleaning was lady were very polite And willing to help. Now the best part The beach was the best part out of this entire trip.it was not that crowded. Water was clean really enjoyed the beach.

Hello! I'd like to totally recommend Sea Star Resort as a perfect place to stay with your family in India 🇮🇳 we fall in love with this place, very tasty and fresh food, friendly staff always being ready to help. We had a very comfortable bungalow with my sister, just few steps form the beach! Quiet area allowed us to rest and charge our batteries for upcoming hard year. We'd love to come back there again 😍

Road to the place is narrow. Photos were different from the actual rooms. Overpriced for the cramped rooms offered. Standard garden rooms need renovation ASAP. Too many mosquitoes in evening beware. Voltage fluctuation electricity tripping out frequently. Service average could be more customer attentive. Definitely Not a place to come back to.

Perfect little paradise on an idyllic beach (agonda). This is one of the best resorts in the area. There is a wonderful garden inside and views were impeccable. I took a partial sea view room, but it actually had the whole sea view in a way. Special shoutout to the staff, Carol. All the staff members are good, polite and nice. There is no room service but they do allow you to take food inside the room. Sipping my morning cappuccino and looking at the view was the best part of my mornings. Listening to birds chirping, plants moving for the breeze, watching butterflies and bees, stray dogs, cats and of course the beach; all these give you a “be in the moment and enjoy the moment” kind of experience. Room doesn’t have any kitchen utensils but they do provide hot water to drink etc. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. There is hot shower. Food was ok. Only issue with Agonda Beach was there are no lights outside in the night but you have the balcony with lights for every hut which was fine. If you are a solo traveler like me, please call the resort before you book. Most of the resorts (not all though) are closed from May - August every year due to rainy season. Anyway overall I had a memorable and wonderful stay. Btw Agonda Beach is really clean. Explore the place if you have time; there is back water trip, you can go see the rock formations etc. Will definitely come back!

Spent 2 weeks at Sea Star Resort and absolutely loved it there!! It’s in a beautiful location at the quieter end of the Agonda Beach in a stunning location set amongst a jungle of palms and bushes set on the huge beach!!! Stunning and totally breath taking! Carol the receptionist is the most loveliest person and goes out of her way to make sure your stay with them is everything it should be and more. The cleaning ladies are wonderful and friendly, the bar staff really take care of you and an interest in you. The atmosphere is chilled out, and everyone makes you feel so relaxed! You get clean towels for the beach and the shower which is great! The rooms are clean and comfortable and there’s a real sense of coming home when you’ve been elsewhere for the day. If you want to do any trips or need a taxi or anything they will organise it for you! We did a great river cruise with Pagi which Sea Star organised and it was amazing!! Wonderful calming trip along the back water river seeing amaIng wildlife including peacocks, birds, flower species and plants....we even got taken to the park field and saw the rice being grown and 2 snakes!! Amazing!!!We loved every moment we spent with everyone at Sea Star and are already looking at coming back next year....maybe even for Christmas!!! Love it!!!!!!!

I LOVED staying at Sea Star resort - the food is absolutely fantastic- I kept coming back to eat there because quite honestly, I didn't find nicer food in all of Agonda beach. From the first day when I had the indian breakfast to the middle where I had been away to a retreat and got sick (they looked after me and brought me nutritious smoothies, checked I was ok) to the end day when I had my last meal (Bombay Potatoes and roti- so amazing! The guys in the restaurant are so sweet and attentive, they make you feel like family and are always there to chat to- great if you're travelling alone like I was. Thank you. Don't wait until the last day, like me, to try their lemon, ginger and honey 'lemonade' - it was brilliant! Definitely make sure you eat here! The staff on reception and cleaning staff were SO SWEET- Carol especially made my stay very nice and was always chatting to me and making me feel at home, and the other man on reception whose name I always forget (so sorry!!) he was wonderful too, very kind and helped me out. Nothing was too much trouble - from taking me to find cash to recommending places to go, booking taxis and tuk tuk's, and Carol even took the time to decorate my hand with some henna- this lady is amazing and one of a kind- please give her my thanks. She is a credit to you :) I actually booked a week at a retreat, but came back EARLY to come back to this place because I had missed the easy-going atmosphere, lovely beach, and wonderful staff. They sorted a room out for me easily by email and it was no hassle, so I was very grateful. I would love to come back and stay with you again in the future. This is a real hidden gem! Thank you for everything and for making my first ever solo trip one to remember! Thanks for everything Sea Star Resort!
