Hendrick and Sonja and their lovely family are the perfect hosts. They are available whenever needed, yet allow privacy and comfort to prevail. The rooms are clean and have views of the sea from the balconies. Their small restaurant attached to the hotel produces a nice variety of homemade choices prepared with flavor and care. The fresh fish caught the...

This was the best find for our budget. Everything is done by the family who owns it and are very friendly and helpful. It was a very comfortable and peaceful stay. Will most definitely go back. We went in the first week of October so it wasn't crowded at all. Beach was quite and serene which was very much safe...

We stayed here for two weeks in February during a three-month visit to Goa. Our accommodation was in a new, clean, modern annexe just across the road from the main guest house comprising private bathroom (with only cold water), electric ceiling fan, coffee table, two chairs and a balcony. Although there was no hanging space in our room, we were...

We stayed at MP Guest House between Christmas and New Year, and were very pleased. Our downstairs room was large and clean, and the beds were comfortable. The room upstairs was a bit smaller, but still very nice. The guesthouse is right on the beach, with the front patio looking out over the quiet main street. Compared to some of...

Maria Paulo is great. We have stayed here a few times now and Hendrick and Sophie create an extremely relaxing atmosphere and the guesthouse is situated just behind the beach. There are sea view rooms available. Rooms are basic but clean, and considering most beach huts in Agonda/Palolem are much more expensive, this is really good value. The food is...

If you like to spent some lazy days at Agonda beach Maria Paulo is a great choice. It is located in the middle of the village and 200 meters from the sea. So you can be very close to the beach but avoid staying in a beach shack. We spent 5 days there in early january. Its a basic accomendation...
