In my opinion, Kashinath beach huts has the very best price-quality ratio of the whole of Agonda. There are definitely huts on the beach that look better. But if you look at all the houses from the inside (which we have done), you notice that the design of all the houses is the same. And that those other huts cost much more money than those of Kashinath beach huts. The cabins of owner Dinu are neat and clean and have a nice mosquito net that hangs over the bed like a four-poster bed. So that gets in easily and sleeps very pleasantly. There is no air conditioning, but that turned out not to be necessary at all. Despite temperatures of 34 degrees during the day and 29 degrees at night, the temperature in the cabin remained pleasant. We were in a cabin right on the beach. How wonderful that was. With a beautiful sunset right in front of us every evening. The huts are approximately in the middle of the beach of Agonda, making everything easy and quick to reach. Many thanks also to the owner Dinu and the staff. These were always friendly and helpful. When you wanted new sheets and towels you immediately got them. And the contacts of Dinu are very pleasant so that you know for sure that when you want to use a taxi driver or rent a scooter, the materials are good and for a normal price. In short, when you come to Agonda and you want to use the best price-quality ratio and you don't care about your appearance, you have to be here.…
Kashinath beach huts is a very good place to stay in Agonda beach!!! Me and my friend we rent a hut in front of the beach for 10 days !The room big enough and very clean! Imagine how is when you wake up in the morning and you see the sea from your bed !!!! The stuff with a big smile also Dinesh, the owner of the place !!!
The room is very standard, but the location (right on the beach) and the wifi are very good. I stayed for 4 days and had no complaints. Also very quiet location which was perfect for me as I'm a very light sleeper.
We stayed here almost two weeks and we had a great time! The room was okay for the price we payed (we make a deal as we were staying longer). Waking up everyday in front of the sea was amazing. The restaurant tough was never open hahaha so we ate in other restaurants.
I have a little difficulty understanding the high marks given this place. The property manager at the time I visited, in Novemember 2016 was a nice guy and accomodating but this place is very rustic. Yeah, it's a beach hut, I get that, and the location is splendid but there are much nicer properties within a three minute walk for for same rate or less. Salt water showers, no hot water, plastic rooms, no wi-fi, no breakfast, no staff. Do yourself a favor and look nearby. I saved $10 a night by paying a cancellation fee and moving down the beach 100 meters where I found a room twice the size with hot water, wood floors, wi-fi, a fabulous restaurant and attentive service.
friendly manager/owner helped us sort out everything, always there for us, very nice and helpfull cleaning lady, they grow plants as well, amazing beach view, keeping it tidy all day long, its quiet and has that privacy feel :) comfortable hut, has mosqueeto net! corner store right next to it, restaurants 2 min away, bus stop to other villages 4mins away. fast wi-fi. highly reccomend
Nice rooms, simple but clean. Saltwater shower but freshwater provided on request. Really great staff, friendly and helpful. Location couldn't be better. Much cheaper than surrounding huts. Came for two nights and ended up staying an extra. Highly recommend!
After a 3-day moto journey from Mumbai and about a 3 week trip throughout India altogether one is just so tired and ready to jump at the 1st hotel that smacks them in the face.. Luckily, for us we didn't! Further down the strip is where we found the amazing gem known as Kashinath Beach Huts. Upon parking we instantly knew it was where we wanted to call home for the next few nights. (Really would love to call it home forever!) Upon speaking with the kind and friendly owner for no more than five minutes we had a beachfront beach hut, a Vespa for the next few days AND Goa tips galore. There really was something so special about Kashinath as oppose to all of the other places along the strip. Kashinath has more of a local vibe. The staff could not be more pleasant and even the guests who choose it are a special type of traveler. I totally plan to visit Agonda Beach again and 1000% percent will stay at Kashinath once again. It truly is a gem! I can't say "hidden" gem b/c it is RIGHT ON THE BEACH ;) Not a bad hut in the place. Enjoy!…
These huts are right on the beach. There are no restaurants or bars immediately next to them so it is nice and quiet. The huts are basic but have a bed (bit too hard and Squeeky) and a basic bathroom. There is a small outside area with two chairs a table and a hammock. Basic, basic, basic but very clean and well maintained. We paid £8.25 a night. Cheapest huts on the beach.
We spent about 10 days in one of the front huts in kashinath beach hut. Just we, the hamock, the beach and sunset! Super quiet, for there is no restaurant in imediate neighbourhood. Still its located in the verry center of the beach, shops and restaurants just around the corner. The huts are simple but spacious, clean and have all you need: Wifi, hot water, fan, good moskitonet, tables for luggage and possibility to hang your clothes , comfortable ratan chairs on the terace. The matress was a bit hard but otherwise fine. The owner Dinu and his family are very nice, always around, and making sure that you have everything you need. We enjoyed my stay verry much, We had all we were hoping for our stay at goan cost!!
