My friend and I stayed for 5 nights at Simrose and were blown away by how friendly, warm and accommodating all the staff were. Dinesh, the Manager, was exceptionally amazing and made my friend and I (two female travellers) feel so relaxed and cared for. The resort is lovely, in a great location and the restaurant overlooking the beach is a great place to relax, eat and drink (we had an amazing red snapper for dinner) and watch the sun set. The resort has a spa, which we also highly recommend, we had massages and facials and came away glowing, and onsite yoga. We were genuinely sad to leave and say goodbye to everyone. You can’t go wrong staying here!

Stayed at Simrose for 3 nights in one of the beachfront rooms. Bed was very comfortable and bathrooms were clean. Beach and bath towels were provided as well as shampoo and shower gel. The grounds are very nice and they light candles on the path a night (nice ambience).

The staff (Danesh, Mikala and Agy) were awesome. They always asked if we needed anything and were very, very responsive.

The views and beachfront location can’t be beat here. Food in the restaurant was pretty good (although there are some other outstanding places in town that will tempt you away!)

I would highly recommend Simrose!

I’ve just stayed here for 5 nights , would have stayed longer if they could’ve accommodate me. My hut was clean and comfortable , hot water, fan, ac, flushing loo , towels etc etc The restaurant serves gorgeous food, but it’s the staff here that are really amazing, big thanks have to go to Dinesh, like all the reviews say he’s so amazing at making sure you are happy and well cared for, I was looked after like a queen, all the staff make sure you have everything you need and more, any problems or questions you have are all dealt with. As a solo female traveler this was really reassuring, they have made me feel at home. I wish I could stay longer and I will definitely be back.

Pros:
1. Beach is a 4 minutes walk from the lobby. Beach is clean and safe (except for cow dung here and there), shallow beach perfect for playing with small kids.
2. Dinesh the Manager is very hospitable and enquires about our well being. Accommodates our special request.
3. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable
4. Mosquito net and Goodnight are provided just in case but we had no issues with mosquitoes

Cons:
1. No kettle, no fridge, no intercom, hot water availability is minimal (you get just 3 mugs of warm water at the most)
2. There were cockroaches in both our rooms (we had booked 2 rooms - a beachfront hut and a roof top hut). At one point, i found a scorpion too.
3. Food is average, not great except for few items like pakodas and oatmeals. There are great cafes nearby.
3. The towels are old and worn out. Needs replacement.
4. The exorbitant charges for beachfront huts are not justified for the facilities they provide.

Tip - book a normal room - garden facing or even a studio if you have kids. The amenities are same. Do not fall for beach facing huts like we did since its a waste. The beach is really close by, you can go anytime.

We chose to stay at Simrose after reading the wonderful reviews and this place truly lives up to its reputation. To start with, this resort is on the Agonda beach which is a great option for anyone seeking tranquility. We stayed in the "Luxury Restaurant Roof Top Front Sea View Hut" which gave us a clear view of the sea. The resort on the whole has a well maintained and beautiful ambiance. Their service deserves a special mention as they do their best to keep the guests comfortable and tend to their needs immediately. Dinesh, the manager, tirelessly interacts with all the guests through out their stay to understand if they have any concerns. The food at their restaurant is flawless.
We had a very enjoyable 3 days stay at Simrose and will definitely recommend it to our friends.

We loved staying at Simrose , its a great place. However when we checked out our first credit card was rejected so we used a second. When we returned home we discovered that both cards had been charged and therefore we had paid twice. It was Christmas and we were paying for 4 rooms over 5 nights so our checkout bill was high. We contacted the resort as soon as we discovered the error and it appeared that the manager Binesh was being helpful, but it is now 6 weeks since Simrose took 2 payments from us and we have not had a refund. It should be simple we clearly paid twice, our records and their records show it , but Binesh at Simrose keeps telling me the delay is the fault of the bank. I think eventually we will be refunded but I would like to make others aware that if when checking out, their card is rejected make sure it really has been before you pay with another card..

We stayed in Simrose for 8 days and the experience was exemplary. From the very start of our stay Dinesh the manager was there for our each and every need going above the norm. The location of the resort is just The Best with restaurant directly opening on to the beach.

We were a total of 5 people and the entire team of Simrose Dinesh, Ajay, Anish, Rajal, Saroj and the kitchen staff were so welcoming that we felt at home. Not to forget about our paw friend Sweat Pea who was always there to welcome us at the restaurant.

All the amenities present right from the pool to the restaurant to the rooms are marvellous and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Simrose.

Would love to return to Simrose for vacation again.

Ajay and Manu’s Bachelor party team.

We selected Simrose Agonda beach for our short trip to goa and the resort truly lived up to its reviews posted by others. Set on Agonda beach which is an amazing beach to hang out in, the hotel is a well designed set of cottages/ rooms that serve the purpose

For our stay which had 2 kids plus an infant and 4 adults we chose the luxury side view cottages and while the sea views were limited it was a decently sized room with a huge balcony for the kids to play in

The biggest positives for the resort was the restaurant and staff..
1. On the beach it was perfect for relaxing and spending hours while sipping on your favourite drinks
2. The staff was extremely courteous and helped out with all requirements
3. The food was amazing from Indian to chineese to Italian to even maggi. This was a major plus ! The chef had an amazing knack of including garlic in every dish which uplifted the dish really well.

But the biggest positive was dinesh - the manager who went out of the way to make us comfortable and even engaged with our kids. While we were busy we knew he had an eye out for them as they played around. He really was a pleasure to talk to and was genuinely keen on making our holiday great!

The staff on admission was clear that room service would be a challenge and we didn't expect the same here so didn't find it much of an issue. However the staff at reception can play a much better role in making the guests welcome - only dinesh and the restaurant stuff did the same

There were also massive voltage fluctuations which impacted the ac and fan working ( but were taken care of when informed )

The pool( more like a small pond) could have been better designed and maintained better but since the beach is so close this was not much of an issue.

Would definitely recommend simrose for anyone who wants a nice holiday on the beach ⛱️ !

We booked Simrose based on some recommendations we saw online and were not disappointed. It is such a relaxed, beautiful location on a very relaxed and beautiful beach. Our room was great but above all, the service was fantastic. Dinesh, the manager, was always on hand to help with a smile and a joke - nothing was too much trouble and all managed in a very natural, relaxed way. We loved the drinks and food and they have an extensive menu. I only hope we will be back! Definitely visit!

This is a magical location, simple and clean accommodation. We had Hut 11 right on the front and it was a dream to see the sunsets and listen to the waves. The restaurant is amazing, food was excellent all week and Dinesh the manager is 10/10 on customer service and was exceptionally good value. All staff were helpful and responsive if anything was required. I love this place and the town, the beach and ambience is magical, it’s not spoilt or overly polished it’s the real deal.
