We had visited Agonda some years ago and decided to make a revisit particularly to Rama Resort where we had stayed in earlier. Happy to report that it looked well maintained and the wood/green ‘A’ shaped cottages arranged neatly around the centre. We had requested beach facing cottages of which there were only three at either end of the square and were happy to be allotted one. The Restaurant and bar takes up the front centre and gives residents a good sea view. The food was good and lived up to expectations. Similarly with service. A good experience and Agonda beach looking clean and good. We will be back here again.

Large huts with excellent air con, comfy beds, mosquito nets on request, good value for an angled beach view. Nice bathroom, plenty of shelves (no hanging space but plenty of hooks in hut). Amongst a variety of huts on Agonda you get space for a good price, nice service too (just ask for extra cleaning, towels etc), Sandeep at reception worked hard to accommodate us and our changing dates. No hot water but we didn’t need it so didn’t enquire on that one. Restaurant serves nice food, usual beach restaurant fare, tandoori giant prawn was good, tuna salad and prawn salads fresh and good value. Teddy and Pragan (not sure of spelling) and rest of team looked after us well. Rama provides family rooms and extra beds in the standard huts, this means it attracts groups and families, so not the quietest resort / restaurant on agonda but we liked it!

I stayed here after completing a yoga teacher training in Agonda and the accommodation, staff and food did not disappoint. It’s great value for money. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us (a few from our yoga course stayed here) and I will certainly be returning when I next visit Agonda. The food is really well cooked, prices are really good and the location is beachfront! I’m the evening it’s nice and peaceful in the cosy wooden huts. Thanks for a great stay and end to my time I’m Goa!

This place is beautifully located but just go for the ambience. The food is really mediocre. Other than the French fries which were good everything else was not worth mentioning and in fact the Tuna steak was inedible. Staff refused to accept and in fact argued. There are many places on this beach front so there are many places to choose from. I certainly will not be coming back here.

Lovely beach huts, perfect location. Clean, light and airy beach huts with fan (we had non AC) Very comfy beds we had such a good nights sleep each night Helpful and knowledgable staff Nice restaurant attached Family friendly atmosphere, safe and quiet However no hot water and no housekeeping services. Holes in the hut in the bathroom giving it an unfinished feel - needs a few more touches to make it better value for money and attract more people compared with other accommodation (fridge, kettle, small decoration or homely touches). Very good stay though - would recommend and return
