Been to The White four times so far and every time has been excellent. The place is beautiful, very clean and on the beach side, so the views (especially sunset) are exceptional. We have been in Goa for six weeks now and usually, even in the decent places, the toilets are a bit rough - not here. They are pristine, just like everything else. The chef and his team are first class and it is nice that they offer something different than the normal Goan restaurant, which tends to be all the same. Ask for a steak rare here, and it comes perfectly cooked. The mash is to die for (I know, mash in Goa, who knew?) Its as good as anything we get in the UK. The local food is also outstanding - try the prawn radicchio, its ridiculously delicious. Every great kitchen needs equally great front of house staff and you don't get better than here, everyone from the front desk to the waiting staff are so friendly, helpful and attentive. If you come to Agonda and miss this place, you will miss a real treat.…
Stayed at the White for 2 weeks and enjoyed every minute. The rooms are comfy and clean. The staff are very serviceminded and nice. The way they seem to enjoy working together adds to the overall "feel good" sensation that is at this place. The food and drinks are great. Ask for a speciality called "The banana Rama trial" It's fantastic. The white resort agonda is a Really nice place and I would love to come back.
We stayed at here for 4.5 days and our vacation was filled with absolute bliss. It was extremely relaxing and rejuvenating. The service at the restaurant is excellent, one of the best we have ever experienced. A stay at this place is highly recommended by me, as it will transport you to a peaceful dimension.
I haven't checked out all the hotels in Agonda but the new White Resort is easily one of the most beautiful. The property is done up in all white, hence the name, and this gives a Greek vibe to the place. On entering, you find yourself in a spacious lobby, following which is a path leading to the pool with cottages on each side, and finally the restaurant and then the beach. We didn't stay here, but went to take a dip in their pool and dine at their restaurant. This is probably the only hotel with a pool in all of Agonda - kudos to them for getting the necessary permissions for a temporary structure! (All the beach front properties are temporary and need to be rebuilt every year). We chilled in the pool with beers and the staff was prompt to attend to our needs. The service overall was impeccable and the food (we ordered the cottage cheese steak) delicious. They even had versions of the feni which were interesting to try. The restaurant is gorgeous and the tables overlooking the sea make for lovely views - we had one of these tables and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. We had a look at their cottages as well and though the rooms are quite small, they are done up tastefully and the outdoor shower is a nice touch. Room prices are quite high, however, going by the aesthetics of this place and our experience here, we would definitely like to stay here if we decide to visit Agonda again!…
Booked for husband’s significant birthday for a couple of days. A peaceful oasis which is very easy on the eye. Great first impression at reception, staff friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable, bathroom and outside shower very nice. Bar restaurant area is welcoming and the staff here are great. Food is slightly more expensive than some places outside the resort but don’t be put off because it’s very well cooked, and there are some fab menu choices. The crab and corn cakes are delicious, masala papads spicy and moreish, and the choc brownies delightful. Everywhere is pristine and so much nicer than a similar resort in Vagator, in fact no comparison! Will definitely rebook, loved it.
