We recently stayed at these beach huts and it was a sparkling clean, comfortable experience for us. Rooms and bathrooms are very spacious. Beds are very comfortable. There's ports available to charge US devices as well as Indian ones. Beach facing rooms are very nice where you can sit and enjoy the sound of waves and the sunset too. They have nice chairs and sofas on the property to sit and enjoy the view thoroughly. Rooms have fully functional AC. Staff is very down to earth and courteous. Room service happens every day so you get back to a clean room. Beach is walking distance of 5 mins so we got to stay in the water for a very long time. There are pipes in front of each room so you wash your feet before you get to your room. We were unable to try their restaurant out so cannot write a review about food. Stay, location, staff, ambience of the property, rooms- everything is top class. Internet works very well in the property. Rohan and Sugandha were most helpful right from the time we started planning a stay at this property. Will definitely return to stay at this property next year. We have just returned from Goa having stayed at Om Sai for 4 weeks in total. This was our second visit to Om Sai and it really does live up to expectations. All the staff are really great, very friendly and very willing to assist in many ways. The rooms are clean and comfortable but not like a 5* hotel as these are shacks on the beach. We had a beach front shack where you can people watch and enjoy the wonderful sunsets. Sun beds are now not allowed on Agonda beach, which means that the area is very lovely and pretty much unspoilt. Since last year Om Sai has extended the area in front of the beach facing huts to accomodate some beach beds. Om Sai has an adjacent restaurant, Sea Breeze, which has an extensive and reasonably priced menu covering Indian, Chinese and European dishes. Each evening tables and chairs are moved to the beach so one can dine under the stars. During our stay we mostly ate at Sea Breeze/Om Sai.

One of the best places I got to stay in Goa, spacious huts no power cut problem, no ac not working problem, very helpful staff always readily available to help. We have recently returned from a 4 week stay at Om Sai. We very much enjoyed our time and felt that we were looked after extremely well. A special mention for all the staff who worked hard to ensure that guests received good attention, but in no way did they intrude. The waiters, kitchen staff, cleaning ladies and reception were all friendly and looked after us very well. We had a ground floor beach facing room. Extremely comfortable bed, good shower and a nice veranda at the front where you could watch the world go by. Cleaning was done when you required it and each day we received two free bottles of water. We mostly ate at Sea Breeze which is part of Om Sai. The menu was extensive, with lots of options – Indian food (we were always asked how spicy we wanted) both vegetarian, fish, meat and breads, smaller options. In addition, they offer salads, Italian food, lots of juices, interesting breakfasts and great cocktails (would thoroughly recommend the Mohito!) We were lucky enough to have fresh crab and lobster on occasions, although these are not always on the menu and the waiters made sure to show us these (alive) and to ask whether we wished one for our dinner (always ask the price as some can be quite expensive). All the food we had was excellent, so much so that we tended to eat there most days. Agonda beach is lovely, very clean (cleaning ladies work every day to keep it so) and very quiet. There are a number of ‘street’ dogs on the beach which can sometimes be noisy at night. We spotted kites and sea eagles soaring over the beach. Every evening the cows come down to the beach to have a wander about – they are well behaved. The village has lots of different restaurants, shops selling basics (like suncream, water etc), massage and beauty salons. The village has obviously been affected by Covid as there were quite a few empty plots where in previous years there had been shops etc. There are now no beach beds on Agonda – we understand a local law for Goa. Although always I would prefer a beach bed, it does mean that the beauty of Agonda beach can be fully appreciated with no regimented rows of beds and umbrellas. We recommend Om Sai and Sea Breeze restaurant VERY highly.

This is a great idea, and avoids plastic usage, which is an enormous problem for India and Goa. Having holidayed in South Goa for over 15 years, we find Om Sai Beach Huts to be the best accommodation in terms of comfort, service and location. Huts have beds with luxury mattresses, air conditioning, ceiling fans, separate bathrooms with shower. Owner, Gaurav, is constantly striving to add special touches to improve guests experience and his staff are friendly, attentive and deliver great service. We stayed in a clean and comfy A/C room right on the beach with a beautiful view of the water. Everyone was so kind and accommodating and made us feel right at home, even letting us check out late as we had a late evening train. It’s in a great location on the quieter end of the beach which makes for very peaceful morning swims and not too much noise at night (save a few howling dogs) but still close to lots of great restaurants and cafes.
