Basic accommodation. Room 5 is downstairs. Air con, fan, mozzie net. I liked the cupboard had a drawer with key to lock valuables. Short 1 min walk to beach. Also on the property is Fatima’s restaurant. Very popular, really good food especially breakfast. Wifi is non existent in the room. Payment is by CASH ONLY, even when booking with online agency. There are a few currency exchange places and one ATM in Agonda. They provide taxi service, 1900 to airport. The only negative I have is my room had mould on the wall outside the bathroom. After 2 nights it triggered sinus irritation.
Stayed for 7 days after travelling north india to relax in quiet agonda. the rooms were small but clean and cleaned every 2-3 days inc fresh linen, towels & mats. the stay was cheap around £8/9 a night for two. Staff were friendly. However (im guessing because its low season and very quiet) there was alot of on going work at the guesthouse. this is understandable but some mornings drilling and knocking would start at 7:20 AM which is ridiculous when the place had many paying guests. especially when the restaurant does not shut till 12am also? Also the rooms started to get incredibly hot at night towards the end of the week, the weather was rainy and it was cooler outside, we tried everything but couldn't get the room cool so spent our last night elsewhere with A/C just to sleep! maybe new more powerful fans needed. Finally, the restaurant on site was great, the staff although all seemed young, were incredibly hard working and the cooks made some great food. decent prices also! enjoyed breakfast here everyday and some good vegan options too 😊…
Just off the Main Street, set back from the road, in the quietest corner in Agonda. Fatima’s restaurant is at the front (good food). Rooms are clean and functional just what is required. Perfect for a get away from the hum drum of the rest of India.
Near to the beach. Small room but big comfortable bed. There is a good restaurant with tasty food, therefore a little crowded and noisy place. No AC. The windows of room#1 look out on courtyard and to restaurant. Therefore it is loudly all time from early morning to late night. Other guests smoke near to window.
Perfect place for a long stay and very close to the beach. However the beach wasn't that great. Their restaurant has an army of cooks, and are always busy. Very good food options. Stay here if you get deals for around USD 15 per day.
Agonda was my favourite place in Goa and this place is right in the heart of it. Nice cafe / restaurant attached. Rooms were decent but the wifi didn't work in there and there are lots of places that are actually on the beach. If i was going again I wouldn't book in advance. just walk along the beach asking prices until you get one in your budget.
We received a friendly welcome from Fatima upon arrival, although the staff on Reception could have cracked a smile! Our room, a standard double room with air-con on the first floor (with balcony area) was basic and small. It was clean and functional with a small double bed and enuite shower room. It was adequate for our 3-night stay but next time I will book one of their luxury or deluxe rooms, as they are far more spacious, with larger beds. The location was spot on – literally a few steps across the street and you are on the beach. Their on-site restaurant served very good food and was always packed out in the evenings. We also used Fatimas's taxi service for our onward travel. Fatima’s provide very good all round customer service for their guests and I consider their rooms to be reasonably priced comparing like for like accommodation in Agonda.…
very clean room, comfortable bed & close to beach, restaurant serves excellent food & the hosts Fatima & Steve go out of their way to help. Special mention for Steve who when i was taken ill accompanied my wife & i to hospital an hours drive away and stayed with my wife until i was checked in then took her back to Fatimas
First time holiday to Goa and this was a great hotel to add to our experience. Fatima guest house and beach huts were clean, accommodating and family friendly. Backing on to Goa beach, we woke up each morning to the sound of the waves and the seabirds. Fatima restaurant had a great choice of local and international dishes with friendly and personal service. Fatima went above and beyond to ensure we had a really memorable and relaxed holiday in Agonda. A family run business our experience was very welcoming and personal. Thank you so so much. We hope to be back soon!
Stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of January 2018. The room was sizeable but lacked any home comforts and the plug sockets and light switches were miles from the bed so not the most ergonomic design. There was hot water and the bathroom was clean. Unfortunately our room was right above the restaurant so it smelt of cooking oil most of the time. We were unexpectedly very late arriving and were grateful that someone woke up and let us into to our room. There is WiFi but it’s not the best connection. The location means it’s noisy until 9 / 10pm but is also means it’s near to lots of restaurants, shops and opposite the path to the beach. I felt the price to be relatively expensive in comparison to others I stayed in of equal or better quality.
