We've stayed there in occasion of our wedding and our family and friends stayed as well. It was superb! Fantastic staff and management, delicious food, fabulous location and the most amazing service! They have made our special day really wonderful and looked after us from the start 'til the end of our stay! We love you guys and can't wait to see you again ❤️🌹 Arianna & Alessandro
We happened upon this hotel by chance one night while traveling around Lucca. After having stopped for dinner nearby we asked the server for a tip on a local place to stay. Without hesitation he mentioned The Milano. Though it was getting later in the evening we took our chances and made our way over. Marco, the proprietor, greeted us warmly and made us feel very welcome. That night we had the best night's sleep of our entire vacation. The breakfast offerings were plentiful and we found the hotel and grounds to be quite charming when we checked out the placed in the daylight. I wish we would have had a chance to get in the hot tub but I think we'll just have to come back and explore more next time,
Lovely family run hotel with nicely clean rooms, cozy sitting area and friendly people. Owner Marco is very welcoming and helpful throughout. They will happily arrange for trasfers from train stations, nearby venues etc. at a reasonable price and with a smile on their faces. Didn't have a chance to dine at the restaurant but the settings looked real fine. Downstairs common sitting area is nice and comfy with a massive fireplace in the middle. Very nice. Highly recommended.
This was our second stay here and it did not disappoint. Family run hotel with excellent, clean and well equipped bedrooms (book one with balcony). Superb local cuisine. Excellent wine list and all very reasonably priced. The owner Marco again made us feel so welcome and ensures that your every need is catered for. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Lovely hotel with beautiful views. It’s small and basic but that’s all you need. The staff are lovely and friendly and the food is delicious. Breakfast is a little odd if you’re not used to a selection of Italian cakes first thing but we went with it. I would advise having a hire car to get anywhere as it’s tucked away and a fair way from anywhere else. About an hour from Pisa and Florence. We had a 6 month old baby with us and she enjoyed herself. My only disappointment was the lack of pool. But there is a lovely beach about an hour away at Viareggio.
