The meals are one of the best in a long time, Choose the hearty breakfast and you won't eat again all day!! A lot of steps, request low level room if you have bad knees. Nice clean fresh rooms, good value. We stayed about 40 years ago, same owner, lovely people and hotel HAS moved with the times, well done...

My partner and I just booked for the one night as going to a family party close by. The staff were very helpful and friendly, our room was on the top floor but we managed even after a few drinks! The room was lovely, comfortable with all the mod cons etc and the shower was great! Breakfast was fab, again...

We came for a friend's Engagement Party and booked in the Briardene to save us driving back at silly o'clock. Even though it was only one night we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, clean room that was very well decorated and furnished. Lovely and clean ensuite, the shower was very noisy and I would have liked to be able to turn...

A really nice place! Spent nearly a week here for work. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very nice and have good facilities. The main star of this place is the food, I was surprised at the standard of food that was served. From breakfast to dinner, all my meals were faultless and steaks cooked to...

Stayed only for one night and had no problem at all. Lovely welcome at reception and a quiet, clean room which had all facilities I needed. I only wish I had longer there to try the highly rated restaurant in the evening, which due to other commitments was not possible. My breakfast was very nice though and I would definitely...

Very clean and comfortable bedrooms and residents' lounge. All the staff were friendly and helpful especially Tracy and Joe who dealt with several changes of booking details for me and my family. The hotel is small dog friendly too. A family friendly hotel with character - not like the 'plastic' every room is the same appearance that you get in...

I have stayed here on many occasions in the past, the last time was over a year ago, and this time we were very disappointed indeed. On arrival, it was very evident that our room had not been cleaned and the bed had not been changed. Totally unacceptable in any situation let alone when you are paying £80 each night....

I've stayed at this hotel several times when visiting the area. It's ideally situated both for visiting a friend who lives in Thornton Cleveleys, and for going to Blackpool - a short walk to the Anchorsholme Lane tram stop. I can't rate this hotel highly enough. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the breakfast food is pleasant (I partcularly recommend...
