This place is a gem in many ways. Great hospitality, really tasty, local and traditional food, and all you need for exploring Tusheti. The comment before me describes everything very well. We enjoyed all of our three nights here.
We absolutely loved our magical three-night stay here. The hospitality was off the charts, with impossibly huge breakfasts and dinners of the freshest imaginable local food and homemade wine, abundant tea made from wild thyme that the owner collects on nearby hillsides. The home is humble in all the best ways, which is just what a visitor to Tusheti should be looking for. There is a solar-hot-water shower in a separate outbuilding, and the home itself has electric lights powered by solar panels, but it was nice to mostly make do with natural light and go to bed early after a long day of exploring. The guesthouse is less expensive than others in the area, and is a fantastic bargain. We dream of returning!
Gio, le fils d'Elisabeth est un excellent cavalier qui propose des treks à cheval en autonomie sur plusieurs jours dans les vallée de Touchétie. Il est même possible de rejoindre Chatilli en 4 jours. A ne pas manquer!
