Detailed Reviews
When you visit places there are three things that you remember for long. First the accomodation corresponding to price, second hospitality and third food. I will give 5 stars to Aspen in all these areas. Since we went there in February just after the peak time with relatively less visitors it was very very relaxing. This is an adventure camp setup so dont expext luxury. We stayed in a tent because of two reasons one to experience the tent stay and second save some money although the level of hospitality remained same. Tent stay can not be compared with room stay but it was very comfortable and quite an experience moreover, we saved money without compromising the other aspects. Staff is very good in fact the staff was so genrous that they gave a separate tent to our teen aged daughters than putting an additional bed in our reserved rooms. Food was simple but very tasty and enjoyable that you can eat for weeks. Staff was very courteous. One last thing that its approach itself is very adventurous and aged people may not find it verysuitable.Over all it was fantastic stay and good luck to Aspen.

It was a lovely experience. We want to stay in a peaceful environment surrounded by greenery and Aspen Camps truly meet our expectations. With proper amenities and cooperative staff, ambience of these luxury camps made our trip so refreshing. Rooms were arranged properly and variety in food was also served which we relished alot. We have extended our stay and celebrated our daughter' s birthday with great zeal. I am so thankful to the wonderful staff who made us feel like home . We completely had a rejunvating experience and I strongly recommend Aspen Camps to everyone as we find it a very nice place in Rishikesh. We will surely visit again 😊

My experience with the Aspen camp was I'll say just OK.
The thing is when you pay such high amount (~8K) for a room for a single night, you expect extraordinary services from the property.
Let me call out Pros and Cons real quick
Pros:
1) Safe environment for family, friends and kids
2) All meals provided by them, so no stress on that. Morning tea with biscuits and evening snacks with soft drinks were cherry on top. Once you had paid for room, you can enjoy these meal buffets. Plus if you want, you can have room services Ala Carte menu on chargeable basis.
3) Wifi included though speed is not that fast, but manageable
4) Clean and tidy rooms.
5) They provide bonfire and music with evening snacks at their garden area
6) Camp situated at bank side of a river which is a tributary for Ganga
7) It is situated on the way of Neelkanth Temple, so one can visit temple with 20 mins drive
Cons
1) Don't expect some high end luxury as we were not even provided with basic toiletries like shampoo, body wash, dental kits. Which are basics when you lay such rentals. No tea/ coffee makers in the room.
2) Access to camp from main road is via steep path where elderly can have some trouble. Good things is they send their staff to pick up and drop your luggage to your cars
3) No safe car parking. You just have to park your vehicle roadside at your own risk and then get down to the camp. Anything can happen to the vehicle in the background while you are enjoying in the camp.
Point 2 and 3 are for every camp located there, not specific for only Aspen. So will not blame them for this gap.
4) They could had built a swimming pool maybe. When you visit resorts, you want to enjoy these things with friends and family.
5) short frequent power cuts, which is acceptable as camp situated in outskirts where geographically electricity shortage is an issue.
Now coming to the vibe check of this place, you will be seeing high gentry people spending time with their friends and family just like you.
Birs keep on visiting your cottages and trees to asd natural touch.
Very serene quite place to keep you relaxed.
Staff can go little extra mile to keep stay comfortable. One such instances was we were late and arrived at 4 pm to the camp. They provided us Lunch that time also for which I am very grateful to them. I don't think anyone does that but Aspen did serving Lunch post serving hours. Thank you.
So of you want to stay at a camp, where you want to spend quality time with friends or family, stress free of worrying about service standards, by spending extra from market rates. This is a place to go for.

For an average meals and very average "premium tent" accomodation, it would hurt you to pay 6000 for a non-ac tent on double occupancy.
There are higher category rooms which are very neat and almost hotel like but it will leave a hole in your pocket.
To our disappointment, when we reached most of the support staff was drunk and reluctant to put the bonfire since the wood had been all soaked up due to the rains.
Something that should been taken care of by the admin because for a tourist its a one night experience.
Jist is - Look for other options if you are going for tents.
They claim of cleanliness but its not the case. Most of the bedding we were given had food stains.

Huddled away amidst lush greenery and the serene sound of a flowing river, Aspen resort is a beautiful place to stay with your friends and family. Rishikesh is a place to experience tranquillity, and Aspen resort gives you exactly that kind of an experience, away from the hustles of the main city. There are both AC cottages and non AC tents – as per your desire and convenience. There is a huge garden area in the middle for relaxation as well. The staff at Aspen was extremely helpful, especially Ankit who attended to all our needs. The food was simple and homely yet delicious. The resort people also organised a nature walk for us in the morning, and even took us to rafting in the main city post that. One staff member accompanied us throughout the day to and from the main city. In the evening, they also organised a bonfire with light music and great snacks. All in all the stay was hassle free and great. I would recommend people to stay here, rather than staying in some hotel in the main city. It’s not everyday that you get to be closer to nature!

Planned an impromptu trip to Rishikesh with my wife and was happy to book Camp Aspen. They were really accommodating as we booked last minute and made sure our journey from airport to the site was perfect. We got the Imperial Room which i guess was newly inaugurated few days back. The room was well set-up and all amenities were on place. We enjoyed the meals served as well as lying down on the lawn and enjoying the surroundings. 10/10 for location as its ideal for rafting and few kms away from the city market! We didn't go for rafting as it was very crowded but you can book it from the camp itself. We also requested for a bbq which was set up the next night. It was worth it! We stayed for two nights which is ideal for this camp. I highly recommend staying in Imperial Rooms which have Air Condition or you can opt for budget friendly camps. Definitely recommend to everyone! Coming here again with friends 😀

The staff was really helpful and made all efforts to make us feel comfortable and enjoyable .The arrangements of music , bonfire and snaks was done to add cherry on the cake .
We also really liked the interiors of the room .
Will recommend this property and will like to visit again .

The place is very clean and maintained very well.
The staff are very hospitable and courteous. Special call out to Naman and Rohit who are extremely polite, always smiling and ready to provide any help, support or information you need.
The camps are located 9 km away from the town of Rishikesh and next to a very small tributary of the river. The river is not visible from any of the rooms/ tents and is about 200 meters of walk but the tributary has very less water.
For rafting they arrange for the car from the camp till the rafting point which is additional charge of Rs.1800 for a return journey. Do ask for Anand Singh for the car, he is very entertaining and very knowledgeable of the place and gave us some good tips for our next trip.
One thing to definitely note is the walk from the main road to the camp which is very , very steep and lots of loose stone. It would be a huge challenge for elderly folks, small kids and people who cant climb.
The only disadvantage is that the river has very little water and not really a place to go and take a dip. So if you want the river view and see the mighty Ganga from your rooms this may not be the place.

This is my second visit to Aspen, this time with my wife to celebrate our first holi together after marriage. We were lucky to get a camp as it was completely sold out for the long weekend. I was not expecting any changes from my last visit especially after the pandemic but was surprised they have surely upgraded their rooms and services. They installed a new pool and i guess it was inaugurated on Holi! Perfect spot overlooking the river and mountains. Our first night we stayed in camp room but we upgraded next day to their newly built imperial rooms. Truly luxury when your planning clamping in Rishikesh. The new imperial rooms have air conditioning and perfect views of the river. Massive Upgrade. Holi was very well arranged with DJ, BBQ and Chaat. We both had a lovely time interacting with other guests as well. Last but not the least, highlight of Aspen is their food! which is delicious- mutton curry was worth dying for. If your planning your visit to Rishikesh plan for two nights here which would be ideal in imperial rooms. we did not do rafting which is provided here as it was risky due to heavy crowd during this weekend. Last time we did the waterfall trek, which is a must do. Surely comping back during winters!

We stayed at Aspen camp, Rishikesh during the Dusshera weekend and the property was completely packed. The team ensured that all guests were very well taken care off. Both veg and non veg food were delicious and they have multiple options in all meals. Accessing the place may be a bit difficult for aged people, however all the rooms are very good and gives a 'close to nature feel'. Evenings at Aspen are wonderful as they play nice music and serve delicious snacks. Special thanks to Sumit for assisting with all our needs.

Aspen has tented accommodations for 2 or 6 pucca cottages for max 3 pax. Suggest take 2 adjacent cottages and ask for extra bedding .

Hi, The road between Roorkee and Aspen is pretty good, just the last stretch of about 4-5 Kms is a bit rough.
"its approach is little bit difficult so not advised for elderly people & its a adventure camp so don't expect luxury "Read full review
