It's a shame to come home to experience this hotel the way it is now. I grew up in Tacloban City, saw when it first opened. It was very beautiful then. Whoever is supposed to do the maintenance isn't really doing their job. It's a shame that even the staff looks surprised when you complain about a condition of the...

Stay in this hotel for an overnight stay last friday and I find it nice. The view is very good but the rooms and amenities need serious updating. Food is fair enough, although breakfast is so-so. Over-all this is the best that you can have in this Yolanda/Haiyan devastated place. Want to see this hotel regain its fabled splendor of...

Samar Island is gorgeous at sunrise and sunset! I agree with the latest reviewer about the steps.. wow are they dangerous.. there are many safety issues around the property, so WATCH YOUR KIDS! and yourself for that matter. I had a grand villa, my suggestion until repairs are made is to change the name of these rooms to large suites....

The room is very big, clean and the view is priceless. All staff are very accommodating, they maintain smile and courtesy. The food is very delicious and most of all the price very affordable. 🕶🌞🌞🌞🌞🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🚤🚤🚤🚤🚤🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭

ls the view of Samar Island across the bay -- the best view in Tacloban. They have a nice pool, but be careful going down the steps and in general around the pool -- there's no lifeguard and there's a water slide going from the upper shallow pool into deeper water below. But It seems a little dangerous to me....

A twenty-footer. That's probably the best way to describe the Leyte Park resort. That's a term used for automobiles, "looks good from 20 feet away", and that's fairly accurate for this hotel. It was heavily damaged in Yolanda 3 years ago, with the following months consisting of little revenue I'm sure. In any event, now, it's just...well, worn out and...

Well the place still has some damage from Yolanda but it is getting there. They are gradually fixing up the rooms . I read some complain about the service but it is also getting better The hotel is out of the direct city and if you get one of the upper rooms one of the best hotel views in the...

Stayed in the hotel and when we arrived--aircon was busted, no cable, and power was shut down for nearly 30 mins. Had the worst experience! We asked for a refund and it took ages and a lot of arguments before they finally agreed to us.

This place was once a great hotel. Now it is just run down. Rude staff. The regular rooms are tiny and run down. Wifi only marginal good in the front desk area. Food choices and quality just plain suck. Really no redeeming qualities left.

We stay in this hotel for 3 nights. We have one room and one small bungalow for the rest of the family. Good and friendly service. Good food. Good swimming pools. The hotel is nice but needs renovation. When it was build I think it was a great hotel. But looks like they havent fixed and renovated after the typhoon....
