We had a magic 5 day stay in a piece of tropical paradise. The staff are fantastic. The accomodation is brilliant. The chef provides a great variety of dishes. The snorkelling was very good. We loved the experience of being able to stop and recharge with so little to distract you. No TV, only 5 guests on the island and...

My family and I visited Tavanipupu for a weekend getaway and it was the best dose of R&R for my husband and great quality family time for all of us. Our children ages 19 and 12 couldn't stay away from swimming around the jetty area, snorkeling, kayaking and cycling around the island. The water is cool and crystal clear, the...

Once me and my partner arrived at the island we were excited to see the pristine water, coral reef and the absolutely rejuvenating atmosphere of the island. For us it was a perfect get away to clear our minds from the busyness of work and day to day life. We stayed five nights, which i think was enough to enjoy...

We spent a holiday of a life time here in August. From the moment we left Honiara's friendly domestic airport our adventure began. We stepped aboard a delightful Britt Norman islander plane with eight seats. It was an amazing way to travel and the views from the plane were incredible with a view of the island making us very excited....

Absolutely wonderful. I think it must be the last of the tropical frontiers. I came here on my own for the weekend when I was based in Honiara. It was perfect. Just perfect. The serenity is sublime, the food is beautiful and having a glass of wine on the jetty with Pamela, the owner, to chat about life left me...

When we knew we were coming to Honiara from the UK with work, we didn't expect it to be all South Pacific paradise. We knew that we'd have to balance some of the hardships of city life here, with a little bit of unfettered luxury. We therefore, off the back of little more than an entry in the Lonely Planet,...

Terrific getaway from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The snorkeling on the island is unparalleled and its hard to think anywhere exists that beats it. I would consider myself one of the worst fisherman ever to hold a rod but was still able to catch a magnificent Trevally. My only complaint which is no fault of the staff...

You could describe Tavanipupu as the ultimate barefoot luxury honeymoon destination, but that would be to do it an injustice! It is much more than that and a truly incredible place with a relaxed atmosphere where anyone would feel welcome. We headed off to Tavi for our honeymoon in November 2013, we spent 8 nights here and had a truly...

Firstly I must say our visit was in October last year. This is the place you read about, see pictures of and never think that it will be you lying on the deck chair at the end of the jetty, surrounded by crystal clear water and white sands! My husband, 3 year old and myself went for a 3 day...

This was a very special trip for us. I proposed to my partner here on a tiny deserted island, nestled amongst a wide turquoise lagoon teeming with fish, and a warm tropical sunset backdrop. The surrounding environment is absolute paradise, and the staff went way beyond expectations to ensure it was a truly unique and unforgettable few days. Exceptional locally...

“All rooms were good. The room where the royals stayed was clearly the best on the point with its own private pier.”

“We would have happily taken any room in the property! We did get the chance to stay 4/5 nights in the royal bunglalow which gives you access to a private jetty so this is the main benefit here. The other bungalows were just as nice inside and we wouldn't hesitate to book one of those again. We understand they are currently adding a few more bungalows so I can't comment on these.”
