Nice boutique hotel with very friendly staff. convenient location between Norrebro and Frederiksberg, but the hotel is situated on a large and busy street. The rooms are OK, but very simple and partly in need of renovation. Bathrooms are small, and even for the Family Room we had, without bathtub. Breakfast is OK, too, but nothing spectacular. Coffee beverages other...

Thank you so much for taking the time to write us a review! We are happy that you enjoyed our lovely area and that you found the staff helpful and friendly. :-) However, we are sad to hear that you did not find the room satisfying. This is a hotel that cares about the detais and the staff are great. They go the extra mile. It makes all the difference. The hotel itself is outside of the main city but there is a metro nearby and (once you get the hang of it) the bus is nearby too.

Choice of the hotel was long meditated because of the high prices and poor standard in Copenaghen. We are experienced travellers used to work for an international hotel company. Avenue Boutique was a very good experience, room were very nice (1 dbl. and 1 family), good bed and linen, quite old bathroom but very clean, wonderful helpful welcome at reception...

I was quite chocked after my stay, after reading many good recensions about this hotel. The rooms definitely need total renovation, especially the bathroom which was in bad condition with yellow dirty grout joints between the white tiles. The carpet had lots of stains. The lamp in the ceiling had stains. The bed was too soft but comfortable, ok for...

A hotel not directly in city center but good location near to metro station. I was lucky with the room (407), which faced the street and was high up. Have seen other rooms not so elegant and nice as mine. Staff is always smiling and helpful. Breakfast is just wonderful with a chef occasionally coming out from the kitchen and...

Nice hotel on a nice location! Really professional staff at the reception and a nice bar with really good local beers! Just a short walk to good restaurants and shops. Just one small negative thing and thats the carpets in the rooms. Lots of nice choice for your breakfast and parking on the backyard.

Staying in Frederiksberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Frederiksberg
Located between Noerrebro and Vesterbro you’ll find Frederiksberg, which is actually a municipality in itself but completely surrounded by Copenhagen. Here there are several fine theaters, from the experimental to the great Det Ny Teater (The New Theater) which specializes in transcribing the great London and New York musicals into Danish, and has done so for several years with huge success. In Frederiksberg you’ll find Denmark’s most beautiful (and expensive) city villas. These 4-5 square miles form the Beverly Hills of Copenhagen. Here you’ll also find Frederiksberg Have (Garden) which sports huge outdoor concerts, from classical to electronic dance music. To top it off, dining options range from cozy family restaurants to some of the area’s most trendy cafés.
