The first week of November and, on a whim, we found a cottage, popped to the supermarket, packed our gear and headed off to the Peak District for the weekend. The location is easy to find and we arrived to a warm greeting from Julie and to a spotlessly clean and very warm cottage. We were tired after a typical Friday...

Perfect location for the Peak District. Lovely cottages and facilities were excellent. Being at the end of a single track road, there is no traffic noise so it's nice and quiet. There are sufficient shops and pubs within walking or a short drive away. View from the cottage is fantastic and the noise of sheep is very relaxing.

Haddy's Hut - this fantastically appointed shepherds hut is located in a beautiful setting. Very thoughtfully arranged and everything provided from tea towels to local maps! Country walks on the doorstep so no need to drive to start a walk. Excellent.

The hut is stylishly furnished and was immaculately clean. The surrounding countryside is stunning and the owners are very friendly as the hut is quite near their home. The fire pit outside was wonderful for toasting marshmallows and the hut has everything you might need. There are some lovely pubs and shops a short walk away. Our stay was peaceful,...

We stayed in Losehill Cottage for a week last year and it was fantastic. The cottage is so well euipped, it's furnished to a very high standard and is like being at a home from home. The area is beautiful and he walks from the door plentiful. Just walking down the lane of an evening to the or in the...

Haddys Hut is a real gem of a place to stay. The hut is situated on the edge of a farm yard. At first, on arrival we were a little worried that it would lack privacy as it is very close to the farm house and cottages. However, we needn't worry as it sits in its own walled area which...

We stayed in Haddy's Hut the new shepherds hut at the farm. We spent a long weekend there and really enjoyed it. The hut is beautifully decorated and very cosy. I slept really well in the double bed which is unusual for me and waking up to the lovely views was a real treat. Outside the glass doors you have...

Good location for walks, easy or difficult. Stayed in Winhill Cottage, faultless. Everything one needed was there and more. Cannot recommend enough. Then there is the Chesire Cheese Pub within walking distance.

This is quite simply our favourite place. The most wonderful location. The cleanest cottage we have ever stayed in. The deepest sleeps we have ever had. There are fresh herbs growing in pots outside the front door; a wonderful golden labrador plodding around; sheep and lambs (if you're lucky) everywhere.

I stayed here for a walking holiday, Julie had provided loads of extra bits like hand soap and washup liquid etc. The accommodation was excellent, so clean it all looked new, you can clearly see that a lot of money has been spent to make sure you are very comfortable, which I was.
