A great place to stay if you're visiting the Peak District. The room was clean and well heated and the bed was very comfortable. The room has everything you could want. Tea & coffee making facilities, including not chocolate powder, clean towels and soap & shampoo supplies. Breakfast in the morning was great and very filling. I chose to have...

Absolultly first rate, the owner are welcoming and friendly, the room was clean and tidy and breakfast first rate. The bar is fantastic serving all beers at great prices. The only draw back is parking but otherwise first class!!! Can't wait till i go back and visit family and friends I know where I'll be staying.

Stayed 2 years ago and it was good. Stayed 21st to 25th August 2016 and it was fabulous. New owners are lovely, friendly and could not be more helpful. Will definitely come again. Gorgeous sausages at breakfast.

In-between booking this stay and arriving the pub had changed hands(2 days before) so no food was being served and no phone/ wifi so no credit card facilities, hence the low rating. Having said that the room was fine and breakfast was good.

Just had a night away with husband and friends stayed at the Roebuck, don t be fooled by the pub pictures as it serves a purpose to the local drinking lads. The rooms are fabulous clean, modern and the breakfast is absolutely amazing x 65 pounds for 2 people per night.

My girlfriend and I were away for the weekend and I can't complain about the company or the food as the people were very nice. However, after being out on the Saturday night, first thing Sunday morning the last thing you'd want is for the staff to be banging around and slamming doors at 8:30am whilst I'm trying to sleep....

Called in by chance as we were passing by on our back from Cheadle, looked good from the outside but on entering the decor looked like it could do with a bit of a freshen up, the staff behind the bar were very welcoming and very helpful. I chose a meal off the menu but when told they had no...

Nice enough place. Small local pub with the rooms around the back. Deserves its 3* rating. Family room double bed creaks a bit too much. Nice and quiet area. All clean and modern enough. Breakfast good, sausages a bit odd. Owners very friendly and pleasant.
