We recently spent a couple of night at Talbot House. We were made to feel very welcome and the room was bright, spacious and very comfortable. There was plenty to choose from at breakfast and the full English was lovely. Will definitely be returning to Pateley Bridge and Talbot House.

It was a sunny day when we called. You can sit out in the rear courtyard (dogs are welcome outside). The owners have two lovely Labradors who will come to say hello. The courtyard is a real little sun trap and perfect for those sunny days. A good menu selection is available. We had coffee and cake which was absolutely...

The Talbot is a former coaching inn and has a very nice modern ambiance. The staff are extremely helpful and do everything they can to make a stay at The Talbot very enjoyable. Everything is pretty and well looked after. The tablecloths are brilliantly crisp and white. There is plenty of seating in the courtyard and lounge and dining room....

We spent a wonderful long weekend here. We had a lovely bijou quiet room and wonderful breakfast. Afternoon tea in the Tea room or the court yard is not to be missed. This is a family run B&B with the help of William and Ruby. We hope to be back soon.

Spent a Saturday night in Pateley Bridge at Talbot House B & B which couldn't be in a better position. Right on the narrow high street, close to everything and a great place from which to visit the beautiful Nidderdale area. Free car parking is available behind the b and b if you are lucky enough to get a spot...

Stopped here whilst cycling the Way of the Roses. Nice B&B. Lovely welcome and a very good breakfast. Fabulous bacon and fresh coffee. Why not 5 stars? The en suite in Room 2 is very small. Shower cubicle was a decent size but the wash basin was a vanity sized basin with a shelf above that made its use very...

Our room on the first floor was clean and comfortable, especially the Super King size bed! Choices at breakfast were extensive and it would have been easy to forgo sightseeing and stay for lunch and afternoon tea!! Sisters Jill and...

We visited the tea room at Talbot House as part of our spring-bank holiday and were met with a very warm welcome. The drinks menu is large and very reasonably priced, and the cakes are wonderful. Pateley Bridge has many tea rooms but I would thoroughly recommend this one.

A lovely find in Pateley Bridge. The service was perfect, a few tweaks to one of our lunches was happily accommodated. We had lunch for 4. It was fabulous. Proper ham in the sandwiches, a super jacket potato, with plenty of filling, and toasties. The cakes looked divine with some twists on the usually selection but we were too full...
