We have been going for the last 10 years to the Borgo Colleoli. The lounge is very spacious and looks out over the courtyard. Very convenient to go to all the interesting places we don't visit anymore. However we visited the few restaurants close by, Petti Rosso and the Hunters lodge and the restaurant Secoli. The steaks are exceptional at...

As fractional owners we stayed in one of the 1 bedroom suites in the villa. These are lovely restful places to stay, a pity that the all the pictures have been taken down from the walls leaving just the picture hooks, but this is no way detracted from a restful weeks stay. The staff at reception are always welcoming and...

Fantastic stay here! We were really impressed with the friendly staff, central location and beautiful surroundings. The scenery is just stunning. The restaurant serves lovely authentic food and there is a lovely pizzeria next door! Not sure if it is just because the high season had not started yet, but the bar was not open very late - we would...

We really had no idea as to what to expect as there weren't many reviews available at the time, but for what we wanted... something that is centrally located in Tuscany so we can explore Lucca, San Gimignano, Pisa and Cinque Terre we could not have made a better choice! Absolutely fell in love with Palaia that is also a...

Cars parked outside villa and golf cart for transport if required. This was excellent as no noise and fumes of car. It was an easy walk through line of trees to our car. The grounds are attractive and the villa beautiful. The 1 bedroom suit was well payed out and large. Cooking facilities ok - small fridge. Centrally located to...

Set in picturesque countryside this old Borgo gives a feeling of antiquity and grand rural living where wealth hinged on olive production and vineyards . A car our stout legs are required to get around but the effort of walking through green countryside and hamlets is well rewarded. In warm conditions the pools offer attractive leisure and recreation The restaurants...

Hubby and I, plus our two boys, travelled here with another family. It was great to have the freedom of letting the kids run back and forth between our apartments. We were there during Easter and it was a bit chilly, but I can see that this would be a summer haven, with two pools and alfresco dining.

Six of us (four adults, two young children) spent a fantastic week at the borgo in September. We had two apartments – one with two bedrooms and one of the smaller single bedroom ones. The resort itself is beautiful and well kept in a rustic sort of way. There are two nice swimming pools, plenty of open space and one...
