I have been visiting Newgrange Lodge with a large school group once a year for the last six years. The place is ideal due to its facilities and the friendly staff whom I have gotten to know by name during this time.(Always a great sign I think that you would agree) In that time with over 400 students passing through...

This is an excellent find. I probably had the best night sleep here in all my time in Ireland. I don't know what it was, but the bed was supremely comfortable. Walking distance to Newgrange, will even arrange for a ticket for you if you need it. I visited in the off-season, so I got to Newgrange early on my...

You can find this accommodation in a peaceful silent area. The staff was very kind, helpful, hard-working. They contributed to my comfort and relaxation. The breakfast was really delicious and various. The rooms are clean, well equipped and comfortable. This place is appropriate for recover from the noisy stressy city life. So I can recommend this place to everyone!

Almost directly across from newgrange, convenient and in summer more important with tours filling early. Helpful staff. Comfortable rooms and common areas although latter were not cleaned regularly. Overall fair value and good experience with amazing newgrange.

We stayed for one night in October. We arrived at about 9:30pm having driven straight from Dublin and discovered that there is nowhere nearby to eat. However, the night manager was happy for us to use his phone to dial in a takeaway and he also made us a much needed cup of tea. There were no facilities in our...

Great location adjacent to Newgrange and the guest courtyard, lounge and kitchen are a bonus and relatively cheap. Our room which was ok for size was at the far back corner doenstairs with the small window facing into a wall. The bathroom while adequate had a broken bath. They offered to shift us to another room but as we had...

Stayed here with hubby and three kids as attending family function locally so location was main reason for choosing this accomodation. Poor all around ..on check in we discovered the two rooms we booked were on different floors - not good with kids in tow. The 'family' room was tiny. The 'twin' was bigger than the family room. Woken at...

Camped here for nine nights in October; can't beat the price at €10/night for one tent (two people). Very quiet, only one other (seemingly semi-permanent) camper. The field its self was fairly sloped, but manageable. A lot of rocks in the ground made trying to put in tent pegs a challenge and the grass looked like it hadn't been cut...

my partner and I stayed here over the long weekend and we were disappointed with our stay. The room smelled of damp and was cold and needed painting, the walls are paper thin and we found it difficult to sleep due to noise levels of other visitors, the bed clothes gave me a rash and felt unclean, there was absolutely...
