We have just returned from a 2night stay at box hedge cottages and what a stay it was. We had alot of problems with the company we had booked through and this could have completely ruined my hen weekend but box hedge cottages helped make the weekend amazing. There were 18 of us and we had the barn and then...

What a gem of a place for a hen party. We mixed and matched the accommodation using the event booking for the bulk of the hen party but also accessing the B&B side for a couple of guests. Everything we needed was in place. The package for the hen party was well organised. The buffet on the Friday night was...

I booked a self catering unit at Box Hedge for myself and 3 friends for a long weekend. We stayed in "The Forge" supposedly able to take up to 7 people so paid over the odds for 4 but not sure how one would accommodate 7 with only 2 bedrooms and 4 proper beds (single) . The place was dated,...

My partner & I stayed here for one night only on our way back from an Easter break. I had booked a double ensuite room which I thought was in the main farmhouse but Marilyn greeted us and took us over to the converted stables to a self catering unit which surprised us. Upon having a look around in soon...

I've used Box Hedge farm for business accommodation on various occasions starting with 5 months in the summer of 2006. I've always had a very good welcome and found the accommodation excellent value for money. The only possible gripe (about which the owners can't do anything) is the distance to nearby pubs and the traffic on the main road -...

We had a warm welcome from Marilyn and Bob - the main house was delightfully decorated for Christmas and choc full of fascinating antiques. We stayed in The Forge, a two bedroom self catering, or bed and breakfast cottage. It was very cosy and comfortable. We ate in the farmhouse the full english breakfast and it was delicious and great...

We found this accommodation on the web by searching for Bed & Breakfast Bristol. We were planning to visit relatives in Bristol and this was located in a convenient, if not the best, location. The accommodation is a farmhouse, situated on a hill, with excellent views of the surrounding countryside. We were greeted by a friendly woman (the proprietor) who...

We stayed in the main farmhouse. Overall there was nothing wrong with the B&B - it was clean and the owners and friendly. However extra effort was not really made. We were disappointed not to be able to go in the garden (as our 2 year old wanted to see it) or the lounge (to keep out of the room...

Previous occupants had written in the dust, we added to it! Bathroom had sliding door and obviously they only cleaned it whilst open, cobwebs in corners of shower and bathroom, extraction fan covered in cobwebs. Tiny basin so couldn't wash properly and no shelf to put toiletries. TV table, lamp stand, mirrors, backs of chairs all filthy. Couldn't trust the...
