Part of a large group in town for a wedding! Great hostel, really sweet owner and staff. Lots of hammocks outside! Top notch deck. Clear and easy to follow rules. Short walk to town and the beach. Would come again. Thanks Martin!

We were a group of 7 visiting Sunshine Coast and stayed at Up the Creek. This was the best backpackers hostel I have been so far. Perfectly located with all the amenities for a comfortable stay. The owner Martin was most friendly and very welcoming. He made us feel just at home. I would recommend anyone and everyone to stay...

Awesome location,, i was amazed to discover the sunshine coast: go outside the main highway that bring u from Banff to Tofino everyone.... So that said, on the Sunshine Coast I was even more amazed to discover Roberts Creek which is a little paradise community well connected to the nature.... We rolled in on a cold wet Tuesday afternoon in early March. This off season trip up the coast was going to be low key, and unplanned. Our host Martin had told us he was away until late in the day so since the sign said to make ourselves at home, we stoked up the fire and went out to...

This is the place to stay when visiting the Sunshine Coast, BC! Martin goes out of his way to make you feel at home as well as providing everything you need to 'be at home'. Up The Creek offers bikes on site to travel to the nearby beaches and shops, as well as all necessities in the kitchen and living...

Pour trip was horrible! Martine is not welcoming. Never present in the house when we need something. The sheets were very dirty. In conclusion, don't come in this place if you want a nice trip in Canada.

Hi Betty G. Thanks for taking the time to write a review on Trip Advisor. It has taken me some time to work out how to write a response to your review. I think however that you may have reviewed the wrong property, as my records show no record of your visit here in either Dec 2013 or Jan 2014....

I stayed here for just over a month during a working holiday and I really cannot stress enough how wonderful my time was. It truly felt like a home away from home. I'd come back to Roberts Creek purely just to stay here again. And I will...

It's the perfect place to stay whether travelling with a group or as a family and an excellent spot from where to explore this beautiful part of the Province. We'll...

We just held our national staff retreat there, with 20 of us, and this place was the perfect size - very cosy, just enough space with the kitchen area, reception area and common room to meet our needs. The common room served as the meeting room with the wood stove to keep us warm, and even had a space to...

I spent a couple of weeks at Up The Creek as a work & stay volunteer. I immediately felt welcomed by Martin and his son Coulter, and found it a really laid back place to base myself while enjoying the sunshine coast. Every detail is attended to and every guest coming through seems to find it a haven on the...
