We had a nice holiday in last May in Thekkady and we stayed at Michels’s Inn for 2 days. Hotel is in the town and ideal for exploring around Thekkady. Rooms were spacious and tidy. Food was excellent. The staffs at the hotel were very friendly & helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It’s a good quality hotel and definitely value for money!!

Clean, central location in a fairly small town. A nice base to visit for a short stay. The Ayurvedic Spa treatments were a little odd and not generally recommended. The breakfast was good and the cleanliness of the hotel was fine. I would categorize this as a Standard Tourist Class hotel and recommend it based on that classification.

It is located right in centre of city. Locations like elephant junction, massage centres, Kathakali shows , Kalaripayattu shows and market , everything is at walkable distance. It has a good North Indian restaurant right across the street. The rooms were ok not great, especially I did not find it worth for what we paid for. I had one bad experience with the staff where I wanted him to change my used towel with a fresh one and he just did not agree for it. Also there were no celebrations for new year which was little disappointing. It has car parking space. Breakfast was not included in our package.

1. The location was very good. 2. The place was very clean and the smell of fresh lemon(probably the dininfectant being used) immediately appealed to our senses. 3. The rooms were excellent - clean and well furnished. Provided extra bed(not just bedding) for the child. That was great ! 4. The service was excellent. 5. The food was very good. The buffet breakfast was excellent. Finally, for a 1 day stay, I couldn't have asked for more. Would recommend this Hotel to everybody as the Best Place at Thekkady.

We had a pleasant stay at Michael's Inn during our trip to Thekkady in Kerala, India. Booked the hotel Online. We stayed during the rainy season in this part of the world which is supposed to be the off season. Our stay was very pleasant and we enjoyed a calm and quite stay at the Hotel. I had been to Thekkady in Oct 2011 and stayed in this hotel for one day. The reception staff was very helpful and checked us within minutes. The rooms in zig zag fashion give different look. Service is very quick. The breakfast was very tasty and hotel served many varities. One can have Dosa or egg varities cooked as per choice. This hotel is very near to Periyar Tiger reserve. There is no problem in going to this hotel once again. Kathkali and Martial art centres are very closeby.The North Indian restaurent is just opposite to it.

Michaels Inn is a very well maintained hotel. The food is great , the staff polite and not too expensive. It is located close by to all the activities in thekkady like boating, elephant ride, trekking, tea factory visits, spice shops etc..We had a great experience.

I stayed here for one night with my family on 11 april . Location - excellent , near main market and sanctury . Rooms - nicely maintained with all required ammenitirs. Cleanliness - very much upto the mark Food - yummy paper dosa , good spred Overall fantastic , must stay there with no extra load on your pocket.

I am a regular visitor here on account of my business trips. The rooms are neat, clean and comfortable. The food is good. The tariff is reasonable. The elderly gentleman at the reception is very polite and courteous and so is the Manager. This, I keep returning. (Had mosquitoes in my room during my last trip)
