Fantastic hostel. Hot water shower and well-equipped considering it's location. The pizzas are also really something to write home about - although we had read that they were good, we were still surprised at the fact that they were! Highly recommended!

We have been in Pachamama end of July 2016. when we walked in to the hostel and asked for a room we first were assured getting a good room with good price rate - we after found out that he completely screwd us over we paid double the normal price. When we went to see the rooms, they were tiny...

Stayed in total 3 night while exploring the Colca Canyon area. + great food (wood-fired pizza's and good wine selection) + close to Colca trails and main square. + provide trail-map and all the tips and advise you need to hike the canyon and arranging transports. + cozy atmosphere - no wifi. Adds to the cozy atmosphere but for a...

The hike up the Colca Canyon is real hard, so you need a proper reward in the evening. For that, just go to Patchamama. The food is great, although a bt pricey and the homemade Pisco Sours are just beautiful. Also you can sleep there for reasonable prices. Oh, and you get pizzas, too, if you want :)

Loved this hostel! They can provide a very detailed map for walks in the area (hiker's paradise, but the sun beating down on you is a killer). There is no wifi and this is a positive point (the bar in the evening makes for a very friendly and easy going atmosphere). If you really need it, however, there is a...

The staff is friendly and helpful, and the place has a wonderful vibe. There's beautiful artwork and interesting details built into the architecture. My husband, our 4 year old daughter and I originally booked a room with two twins. The staff upgraded us free of charge to a room with a full size bed and twin, which was unexpected and...

Stayed at Pachamama for a night after climbing out of the canyon. Warm showers, warm beds, great terrace views and excellent pizza was all we needed! Would recommend to people from a small to longer stay.

There are so many pros here- great, out of this world, food (especially the wood fired pizza), amazing pisco infusions and creative drinks from the bar, probably the warmest showers in South America. However, every time we needed something like toilet paper or food the staff was no where to be found. It is also more expensive than any other...

I spent two nights at Pachamama and was very pleased I'd chosen it as a place to stay. I booked over email (a deposit over Paypal was required) and while people were turning up and getting beds it was fairly busy so worthwhile booking if you're the nervous type! (Though there are other places to stay in Cabanaconde). I had...

For visiting Colca canyon this is a great place for a "base camp". Clean, good food, hot shower, great spot for getting information about tracks. I am going to rate the restaurant separately as the service needs some improvements.
