We stayed for 2 nights at the Lambert Hotel. The location is very good for touring the Chilterns. Our room was very comfortable and a nice size. breakfast was good and we stayed the first night for our evening meal which was good. Staff are friendly and courteous.

We spent two nights in this lovely hotel. All the staff were very efficient and friendly and our courtyard room was large, comfortable and very clean, the only complaint was the lighting which was very poor and made reading difficult. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was excellent as was the breakfast. Would definitely stay again...

Stayed for one night. Large bed, a little soft for my personal taste, but not uncomfortable. Not much in the way of furnishings, bed, small table, one chair and dressing table. Room was large and clean. In fact it had quite obviously been very recently refurbished. The clue was a very overpowering smell of paint. That said a popular place...

We have two well behaved dogs. Hotel was very welcoming. The old road to Lewknor under the M40 good for emergency walks and the Chiltern Ridge nearby for proper ones. The staff are extrememly friendly. My wife and I walking and running were late for breakfast but nothing was too much trouble. All the staff friendly and thoughful and courteous....

First of all, the score for this hotel was incredibly difficult to give as it varied greatly. The location is just beautiful, with a view of the English countryscape surrounding it and nature close by. The staff was extraordinary friendly, helpful and nice, 10/10. Especially the manager and the receptionist Rhianna brightened my day. The hotel itself was beautiful too,...

Good location on the outskirts of Oxford. Very comfortable room in the courtyard and the staff were very helpful. Part of the deal included cream tea on arrival and evening meal, both of which were excellent. No hesitation in recommending.

We spent a great weekend at The Lambert Hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and exceeded our expectations when sorted out a problem with our groupon voucher by email before our stay. We received a very warm welcome when we arrived and stayed in a lovely courtyard room with a very comfortable bed! The dinner in the restaurant in the...

Recently enjoyed a two night stay here. Room 1 in the main hotel is nice but a bit noisy. Breakfast very good, and staff friendly. It's very well situated as near the M40. If we return we'll try one of the courtyard rooms.

Came on a Travel zoo deal had a really pleasant meal but slept badly due to a really soft bed (room 105). The hotel is really nice and service and breakfast good. The hotel has been refurbished but the bed and headboard haven't.
