We had a special occasion to attend & needed to book 3 rooms close to our family in Alsager, The Holly Trees was just perfect. We felt quite at home, and had everything we needed. There was a generous choice for breakfast, freshly cooked to order, superb! Henry & Sarah made us feel welcome & were very accommodating. The only reason...

My partner and I spent a Saturday night here while visiting relatives. The owner was welcoming and attentive and the decor very homely and full of character. The bar, lounge and restaurant were extremely quaint and inviting. Breakfast was included and was properly served, as oppose to a buffet, with generous portions. The room was clean and spacious with a...

This is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are very clean and tidy. The breakfast is one of the best I have ever had that's the full English. Loads of parking of road. I would highly recommend this one.

In these days of Travel Lodge and Premier,it's great to find this non-chain hotel as close (3-5 mins) to the motorway(M6 junction 16) without being able to hear the swoosh of traffic speeding by. When we arrived we were met by the welcoming friendly and helpful owner who made us feel at home. When we stayed the road running past...

This was booked for work and I was a lone female traveller. Manager who welcomed me was very friendly and helpful. Bed was one of the most comfy I have slept in and memory foam pillows were a nice surprise. Yes it's a bit dated in decor but was immaculately clean. Free Kit Kat too! Excellent poached eggs on toast!...

We had a family room which was spacious and dog friendly. The bathoom had a bath with shower over the shower was not that efficient. Breakfast was ok. The reason we state more a B&B than a hotel is on our arrival although mid afternoon we were told no evening meal unless ordered the previous day. However we found the...

Lovely comfy double room at the back which was quiet and fine for a one night stay. Shower worked perfectly and thoughtful of owners to put little bottles of shampoo and conditioner as well as soap in the en suite. Also found the hairdryer in a drawer which was great because I forgot to bring mine. Small complaints were the...

Myself and my partner have stayed here 3 times within the space of a few months on business in stoke. We initially stayed here due to our regular hotel being full up. We were very pleasantly surprised as this place is a wonderful hotel just outside of stoke (about 8 miles). It overlooks lovely countryside and it is very homely...

The Holly Trees Hotel, just of Junction 16 of the M6, is very convenient for breaking a long journey. Dogs are welcome - and even have their own area of garden. Proprietor Henry was very welcoming, gave us lots of useful information on arrival and suggested some nearby places to eat. Our room was at the back of the hotel...
