I got very good service from the reception, and from the restaurant, when I visited the hotel at a conference! The rooms were clean and confortable, and the whole hotel have a great feeling of 1970 around. But it is like new.. in the materials.. great! Food was ok, and for me who were at a conference, they supported me...

Stayed a weekend due to daugther attending a swimming competition at Hyvinkää. This is the nearest hotel to the pool, therefore very convenient. Room was decent, quiet. Very oldfashioned, no flat tv's or any modern things. Bed was not very comfortable and pillows were very flat. Not good! Shover was nice, though. No complaints about the breakfast, although bacon was...

This is a forest hotel. It is located in the hour by car from Helsinki. The hotel is big. There is a large outdoor parking near the hotel. The parking is free. We was there for one night. The hotel is a little bit old, but the room was clean. It seems the hotel was renovated. We went in the...

If you've ever been to a Finnish hotel built in the 1970's, you know the type. Architecture that reminds of the Soviet Union, carpet flooring and ugly colors. The most worn out parts of the interior have been renovated, but the basic atmosphere hasn't changed. Like in most Nordic hotels, the basics are in order. Some older members of the...

Good hotel and as said by others, the rooms are a bit outdated but clean and fresh. It is in the middle of nowhere with free parking. There is a pool and also a swimming hall next to the hotel but I didn't have time to check them. Service was friendly at the bar and front desk but poor in...

I have stayed in the Rantasipi several times in the last 2 years, the last time being in September. The hotel is a typical Finnish hotel with the rooms having basic amenities. The rooms are small. They have a restaurant with buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner , but you can also order a la carte. The buffet breakfast is the...

OK, so you can tell the place was built in the 70s. But aside from that we found our room to be comfortable and complete with all amenities. The best part of Rantasipi is the breakfast. Buffet-style Finnish fare mostly. But then I'm biased toward any place that will let me eat as much Ruispalat as I like. The location...

Stopped in this hotel for four nights and only had time to really see the hotel for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was good and plenty of choice. Dinner was quite good with buffet most nights and choice of menu which was quite pricey but ok. Lovely location of having a relaxing walk along the cross country skiing pathways and this...
