The hotel was absolutely amazing! From comfortable rooms, food available I believe 24/7, and great amenities. But the best part of the hotel is the service. Marian from reception was an absolute wonder. He was extremely attentive, kind, patient, and was so friendly. His service made our stay go from great to incredible. That man deserves a raise! We will absolutely be back thanks to him!

Average hotel in very nice location. Simple facilities, more focused on family with kids. The pool is public not a cozy hotel place. Quite disappointing. Simple breakfast. Hotel staff very nice but slow. All in all good stay. Nothing special

One night with my family in Hotel Sveitsi. Service was quite bad. There was some disagreement with the price of Suoer park tickets. The situation was humilisting for me when I had to defend my self and explain what we had agreed. They had sold us tickets beforehand that was actually cheeper for us to buy that day there. The room was so warm that children could not sleep well. In the morning I got just some smiles and a formal appology. Rooms are old but ok. No information before hand that the restaurant was closed. The surraunding nature is very beautiful so the place is worth visiting. Children were happy but I was dissapointed.

In hotel brochure was mentioned that they want to give home-like warmth and caretake. That promise was redeemed, including all staff. Especially i want to mention that my son, who is very allergic, was given very special attention and we even learned one new food for him. Excellent! In addition to that, hotel itself is overall classy. Especially i want to mention lamp design: they are sophisticated, but still give light enough. Only source of discomfort was too high pillow, but that was due to my laziness to contact reception late in the evening.

First of all I have to say, Hotel Sveitsi has really charming and enchating meeting rooms with lot of different options, highly recommended. Hotel rooms are just renovated and nice, though not very spacious, also I missed the make up mirror. And for couples I would like to have a king size bed, we had twin beds. We had a superior room and the view was odd (roof). Hotel has lot of different leisure options - cinema, super park, fit park, beauty salon, skiing, ice hall, hiking, golf, horse riding, cycling, etc. etc. Swimming pool was closed but will be opened again on October after renovation. All this is very good for groups as well as individuals. Restaurant Karhunpesä looked very nice with open fire, modern furnitures and friendly staff, etc. However, I was a disappointed with the food. Appetizer was quite ok, but the main courses (steaks) were not. When you order a steak, you can expect to have the best part of the fillet. That was not the case, we had a tail part which looked strange. Also the seasonal vegetables were root vegetables which is quite different. Garlic potatoes and small potatoes were fries in both portions. And both portions were tasteless (no salt enough, no pepper, no nothing). We didn't like them. Overall expression was anyway good and I could go there again.

Room we had was worn out, straight from the 80s and not with the forest view we asked for. Outdoor swimmingpool usage was included in price but not usable because of the weather. Also, there was no sauna at the hotel for the customers to use. Or if there was, we coudn't find any info about it. Only actual restaurant at the hotel was fully booked and didn't answer to several phone calls about the possibility to fit us in. Other restaurants in the city were closed because of the midsummer so no options (besides fastfood) to eat out. We ended up ordering pizza to the hotel. 300 eur for two nights with nothing to do or eat was not a good holiday, would have been more fun to stay at home. -some rooms (like ours) are worn out and stained -no options to swim or use the sauna at the hotel -only the fastest can get a table from the restaurant, others can try to find food elsewhere +breakfast was ok. Nothing special but edible.

Frankly, we ran into some issues upon check in. We were promised a room with a forest view and they did not deliver. We did eventually get things worked out. So, they recovered pretty well. We had spa = swimming and sauna = included. However, this was shared with a public pool/spa facility. The swimming pool and area was a bit worn out. Changing rooms were okay. Breakfast: okay. Nothing special. The highlight was a waffle maker. No custom-made or alacarte orders possible. Dinner: basically only 2 options available. Overall, the options were thin on the hotel premises and there were no options within walking distance. Back to the accommodations: the rooms were spacious. Well-kept. Seemingly newly renovated. Staff were a bit terse, and quite normal for Finnish standards. All in all, the stay was decent. The best part: forest and other outdoor activities are a stones throw away.

Dear A Kullah, sorry for my delayed answer. So sorry to hear, that your stay was not satisfactory. We are developing our services daily, and I am happy to tell that our new a la caret menu has over 40 items to choose from. During Covid-19 we did have times, that we had only limited availability with dinner options, but now we are back to "normal". As for spa, you are absolutely right that we should not use that word anywhere in our materials as it is a communal swimming center attached to our hotel. It is included for room price and after their renovation it will have several indoor and outdoor pools available. Hope to see you soon here again as our guest. Kind regards, Vesa

Excellent stay with my daughter. We just loved the room, junior suite that we had. Nice forest view, great bed, allthough I spent most of the time in the sofa, while my daughter spent the time in the bath. - which was quite enough ,so it didnt bother us that the waterpark was not yet open. Great outdoor activity possibilities and walking paths. Everything was superb!

Our working team decided to get away from the capital for a couple of days just to focus on planning and team building. Someone suggested hotel Sveitsi so off we went. Myself I was a bit sceptical, but as soon I arrived I got good vibes. The hotel is situated beautifully in the forest on a hill just a few kilometres outside town. The people in the reception made me welcome and the service was fast. The hotel os originally from the 70d, but has gone through a fully renoovatoa few years ago. Everything felt very fresh and well maintained, still maintaining some of the 70/80s atmosphere. The room contained everything I usually expect on a business trip; good sleeping comfort, iron and ironing board, mobile phone charging by the bed... The meeting facilities were good enough and the off time activity possibilities just fantastic. There was an indoor swimming pool long enough for training. Additionally there was therapy pool with warm water and slides for the kids. The big outdoor pool was closed due to the season. We decided with the team to have dinner in the hotel instead of going downtown. I usually prefer going out for dinner, not having it in the hotel. It turned out to be a good choice. The hotel's restaurant Tila was just great. Happy smiling crew serving good food. The meny didn't include any big surprises, but it was extensive enough that everyone from our team found something Myself I had a spicy shrimp pasta, which was really delicious. The prices were really reasonable. The breakfast was more or less a sta nondard continental one served in most of the Finnish hotels. No real surprises, but for sure something for everyone. The check out went also very smoothly. Finally I think it's worth mentioning that there's a cinema with several rooms and several movies running every night. Didn't try it out. Furthermore there's an indoor activity park for kids and yoingso that seems to be very popular among the local. Overall, this was a really nice and pleasant stay.
