From my perspective this is really a pub that does B&B and meals rather than a hotel. It's very well located on the front at Burnham but the image it portrays online is somewhat flattering. While the staff were friendly and the food was perfectly ok our room, although clean, look a bit tired and the bedding needed updating. A...

Just wanted to make people aware before visiting . I was disappointed to establish no baby changing drop down table available to use . Had to use the floor in the toilet . I realise there is no law against this but there appears to be plenty of room

As always we really enjoyed our Sunday Roast Dinner. Thank you for that and for providing a dairy free alternative for our daughter who has a severe allergy to dairy products. You took that in your stride and it wasn't even a problem.

We were looking to get out of grey, polluted London for a short weekend and I remembered Burnham-on-Crouch from a childhood visit 60 years ago. The first two reviews on TripAdvisor were fine so I booked. A little later I heard my wife giggling at some of the other reviews which said somewhat unfavourable things about the hotel! We went...

My stay was ideal. A warm and friendly welcome, a beautifully situated room overlooking The Crouch estuary and some excellent, well kept Adnams Bitter. The breakfast was perfect for an early start, warming with as much coffee as you want. Whilst I did not have an evening meal myself, the two ladies that I was talking to both said they...

Very comfortable and friendly. An excellent meeting place for friends, visitors and locals. Try the steak sandwiches, they're wonderful. And now you can even have chips! It's really the only decent pub in Burnham.

We go to Burnham regularly, but had never visited the White Harte for lunch before. We just had dover sole with seasonal vegetables and it was delightful. Raspberry pavlova (with a different name) was OK but would have been quite delicious with real cream instead of the "out of an aerosol" version. Overall, it was a good experience worth repeating.

We stayed overnight at the White heart as we were at a wedding reception at the Royal Yacht Club. The room we had was a very tiny one in the loft overlooking the river Crouch. It cost the same as larger more accessible rooms on the lower floors and we considered this unfair. The breakfast in the morning was good...

We stayed in this Inn at the end of July. We went to a wedding being held nearby and booked accommodation nearly a year in advance as we were going to a wedding nearby. I rarely write TP reviews and I don't think I've ever felt compelled to write a bad one... but this place.. really?! seriously in 2016?? I...

Attractive traditional hotel in a great waterside location; we opted for one of the superior rooms with a view over the estuary. It had a lovely south facing bay window with built in seating where you could watch the world go by. There was also attractive exposed brickwork on a couple of the walls. The breakfast was served promptly in...
