Good Food for being in a Forest. Have their own boats to take you to see the rehabilitation of Monkeys. The guide took us on a...

I was put with Portuguese speakers. The guide rarely spoke English, usually when I asked a question. The guests helped me over difficulties in the path, the guide did not check on my progress. Frequently he was leaving when I arrived at a point of interest. He failed to notify me of sights to see, things to do, and when...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Amazon Lodge is the beautiful rain forest lodge located 80 km from Manaus. For almost 30 years Amazon Lodge has been the best way to visit the unspoiled primary rain forest. The lodge is located within a 337 ha private nature reserve. What a great experience to wake up to the scream of the howler monkeys in the thick and dense rain forest! Learn about the wildlife and the amazonian way of doing things during your visit at the lodge. The water temperature is usually 26-32 degrees Celsius. ... more   less
