We spent 3 nights at Tupana as part of our honeymoon trip around Brazil. The transfers are really well organised with pick up and drop off from our Manaus hotel. We stayed in one of the superior bungalows which was great as it was set slightly away from the main lodge, so it felt very private. The room was good,...

This is one of the best experiences we have ever had! It takes some adventurous spirit to go - between the boat over the Amazon, 3 hour combie drive into the jungle and then a leaky boat to the lodge that is in the middle of nowhere - but it is worth it! Location is amazing, well organised and fun,...

I read nothing but good reviews about Tupana Lodge and I must say, our guide Fabio, the family who runs the lodge and the chef and the food were all wonderful. That said, for the amount of money you spend- our room had cockroaches, the shower water is from the river so its impossible to shower and feel clean, we...

My husband, father and friend went to the lodge in November... We absolutely loved the entire experience from the boat ride to the small village, the drive, and the next boat trip to the lodge. The service at the lodge was outstanding, the food was good, and we loved the activities including dolphins, caimans, hiking, visiting a local family, and...

We choose this lodge as a mid-range establishment. It was very good and we were pleased with our five night stay. It is a boat ride across the white and black rivers from Manaus and then a couple of hours by car along mostly paved roads. A final short boat trip gets you to the lodge itself. We have a...

“All of the rooms are good. We chose bungalow, which were a little more expensive. They are nice because there are a little more secluded. I probably wouldn't bother next time as the other rooms were just as nice.”
