Together with AndreaK from Hull we had maybe the best 3 days away from home. After loosing all of our luggage (fortunately) with nothing except 2 t-shirts and ... we enjoyed the time being reduced to the basics. No phone, no TV, no internet, only purely nature, nothing to loose, nothing to care about. Thank you for this opportunity. We...

We had a great 3 night stay at the Tauari Inn. It was beautiful and relaxing floating on the water, with some amazing sunsets. Aldi was wonderful and is an amazing cook! I ate so much! The rooms are pretty basic, but the a/c in our room worked great. The showers only have cold water, but after the heat of...

4 of us stayed at the lodge for 3 nights at the beginning of February. We were met at the airport by our English speaking guide Shane Zammette, it was a long but interesting trip to reach the lodge, boat, bus, then another smaller boat, don't recommend having lots of heavy luggage, but have plenty of max strength mosquito repellent....

We stayed here for 2 nights in August. We had originally booked to stay at the Tupana Lodge but this was cancelled by the hosts last minute and luckily Tauari Inn offered us last minute alternative accommodation. This lodge is basically staying in someone else's house, although you have your own bathroom within your bedroom and eat dinner seperately. The...

Of all the places I've stayed in my one month trip round Brasil, this was by far the most enjoyable. This was the real (acessible) amazonian experience. Gastão and Aldi, the hosts, provide the most enjoyable and relaxing stay possible. We stayed 4 nights, and did all kinds of experiences (fishing, swimming in the lake, night "canoe safari", jungle trekking,...

Tauari Inn is a great location for everybody looking for an authentic Amazon experience. Gaston, the charismatic owner, shares his passion for the region with his guests and invites them to spend their days with him. We would go back there.

My mother, aunt and I all adored staying at the Tauari Inn Lodge. Gastão and Aldi are excellent hosts, who want you to have the best experience possible. At the time, we were the only guests at the lodge, and Gastão let us choose what we wanted to do each day. He took us to the village learn about local...

My husband and I stayed here for 5 days shortly after the 2014 World Cup ended. We took a two hour ferry ride from Manuas to the inn which in and of itself was a great experience, and were greeted by the host, Gaston, upon our arrival. This place was exactly what we both needed to fully disconnect after several...

We were there for a 3 days break during the soccer world cup 2014. Reis, the owner, received us very well. The meals were excellent, including unknown fruits and juices. We could borrow a kayak, swim in the pure water of the lake, fish and discover the jungle and many birds with Reis. We wer also in a party with...

The place on the lake Janauaca is really, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Swimming in the Amazon is great, especially to wake up. Aldi and Gaston are very nice and available. The food is great and you can do many activities : go into the jungle, fishing, wander in boat... I highly recommend this place if you want a natural and...
