Excellent fish and chips, good service but for the price (£12+) we were surprised we didnae get any peas!
We did give this feedback to the very pleasant waitress, so maybe they'll add some greenery for next time.
Called for a lunch sandwich after visiting nearby Dunnotter Castle. We had the Prawn and Avacado sandwich with salad.We we're able to sit outside in the sunshine and watch the world go by. Would do the same again, if in the area.
After visiting the castle, we retreated to the small port of Stonehaven for a pint on a sunny afternoon. Sharing stories and cheese and sausage with a lovely delicately hot mustard... just a wonderful time had by all.
We just stayed one night. The beer was exceptional, the food was great and the room lovely. We loved listening to the sound of the waves in the morning as the sun came up over a beautiful view.

Stayed here for two nights whilst attending a sporting event in Aberdeen and Stonehaven. Arrived later than planned on the Friday night and one of the staff in the packed bar directed me up to the first floor restaurant for a friendly and casual check-in....More
