Stayed here as second part of Great railway journeys Magic of Sicily. Hotel itself is ok but not the star rating given, had concerns about this hotel because of the reviews which unfortunately were true. Set meals were poor, many were made with food from the previous night. The hotels private beach resembled a building sight and the resort was a dead and...

Location and view from sea view room great. Room cleaners good. But a lot of poor experiences! No instructions in room especially about the air conditioning and how it doesn't work in every possible condition. I see lots of reviews below now why haven't you done something? I went to reception to report after dinner and found no one who...

This hotel looks lovely from the website and we were not disappointed with the room. It was well furnished and had a lovely balcony overlooking the sea. The town where it is situated is not great, very run down. The hotel caters for local parties and this could be a problem for some guests. These parties start late at night...

The hotel seems quite new with materials and design which feels up to date and fresch. Altough on the minus ( -) side where they can improve is bad wi-fi connection, heavy leakage over the floor from the shower, AC not working and breakfast ( a small but important thing) with bad coffee machine ( Nescafé ) which is not...

The Hotel was the second accommodation component of a Great Rail Journeys (GRJ) 'The Magic of Sicily' tour. The hotel is pleasant enough, however, as an observation it does not rate anywhere near the four or five star promised by GRJ. Additionally, the town location is at best second rate, offering very few alternative dining opportunities and no alternate leisure...

we staywd here for 4 nights during Magic of Sicily tour. Hotel room was very nice with balcony but most of the town seems to be a building site with no tourist infrastructure so free day had nothing you could do except stay by pool and read. There was no info folder in rooms with basic information such as how...

This hotel would be well enough if it were in a more pleasant place. There is nothing to see in Roccalumera and it is inconveniently far from Taormina. The hotel literature says that it has a private beach but there was no sign of this. Across the road from the hotel there is a short stretch of stony beach with...

Staff friendly and helpful even though I don't speak Italian and they didn't speak English - thank heavens for Google translate! Rooms light and airy. Food ok but not brilliant! Fantastic location for the beach but lack of local bars and restaurants not to everyone's taste. Good for a few nights as a centre for tours and trips to other...

Without a car and the idea to visit another area of Sicily every day, I wouldn't recommend staying here for longer than a few days, simply because the town is very basic. The hotel itself is very nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection was good, and the rooms were simply but nicely decorated. Yes, there is considerable noise in...

“Get a room with see view. The view of the other rooms is not worth a single cent. Avoid the first floors as it may get loud on weekends. There is an open disco at the hotel on weekends which may be annoying if your room is on the first 3-4 floors.”
