Sky camp cheated us by taking extra money - the package was booked for 1 night for 7.5k with complementary breakfast, snacks, lunch, camel safari and cultural program. However, visiting the camp , Jeep Safari expenses was not included which cost us 10k also without paying this you can not attend the place that was a cheat. Even camel safari was for 10mns only..for extra time you have to pay 600 more. In short this people are making money and not providing all facilities. Only two bottles of water is complementary, and each item is charged 20rs extra.

Hi, i request users to pls not to visit this location. I have booked this desert safari after a lots of research and paid advance directly to the owner. Before we reach to location they will call you to their office in Jaisalmer for making full payment and show us other activities. They will show you lucrative picture at the time of booking but what you get at the time of checkin is LIZARD. We did the same trusting that everything will be proper but after reaching their they provided two tents to us and it has LIZARDS in it. We almost saw 7 to 8 lizards in bathroom and bedroom. Even there were two lizards on the bed. We were surprised and shocked. When we reached out to their supervisor, he showed us two more rooms. However, the same thing noted and we saw lizards in that room as well. We requested them to pls refund the money what we have paid becoz if we stay here with family, we will not be able to enjoy and rather our night would be a scary one. How can a family of two with four children stay in tents having LIZARDS. They did not even had courtesy to refund the money and we have to leave from there empty handed. The owner even after informing him the situation did not called back and never responded for the refund requested. So its a looting company by harassing the clients by taking advance money and not giving proper service. I request not to opt for this desert safari in future. Thanks

The staff is courteous. The rooms are nice, and all of the amenities are excellent. Thanks to the whole Flame of the Forest crew. The scenery, cottages, and vistas are all spectacular. Overall, a really pleasant visit... Also, excellent service. They provide adventure sports like as zip-lining, rappelling, wall climbing, kayaking, and night treks as part of their package, which includes lodging, meals, and all of these activities.

Our stay was in Dec 2021, truly red season. It was a good experience and was impressed with hospitality and courteous behaviour of Staff and Manager. We reached camp at 0400 PM from Jaisalmer. Mr Nasir guided us on how to plan the iteniary for the day and next day. His Chef cooked delicious food and it was really authenic Rajasthani buffet spread. They took good care of their guest for dessert safari. All through they were engaged if we were comfortable and enjoying our trip. There are many camps in Sam area but I would recommend them. Wishing you good luck.

This was my 3rd visit to Jaisalmer and We stayed in Sky Desert Safari Camp on 28th December 2021.First of all let me write good things about the Camp. 1. The food is Good. 2.The rooms are average with clean washrooms.(Not as per the tariff they charge). Now the things you should take care while booking with them 1. Rates are extremely negotiable, In the camp you will will find people paying 5000-15000 for the same package. 2. They will ask Rs 2000 per person for Jeep Safari whereas the jeep safari is available at 2000 per jeep from outside which can accommodate 5-6 persons.Outside parasailing is available@500/person and quad bike @300 person. 3.The location as approx 5 kms away from Sand Dunes at Sam, Look for property near to dunes for a better experience. 4. Average Cultural program performers at Night..The people started leaving within an hour of start of program. To summarize there are much better properties available at Sam for camping. Tariff and Facilities dont match at this place.

The stay in the camp and the food is really good. I took my student to this camp. So there is one person whose he introduced him self as Harish from the camp arrange an adventure activities for the students in the sand dunes, the amount he charged was really expensive and he didn't give us what he had promise. When we are try to cancel the activities one day before the activities schedule. He said it cannot be cancelled and no refundable. All this he didn't inform the students that this activity before booking is non refundable. It was really a bad experience for my student. Lot of money my student had put in for the activities. But the output is bad and 4 times expensive compare to what other persons in the sand dunes charges for the same activities. Therefore I don't recommend anyone to take any activity from the camp. However the stay and the food is really good.

Hello Guys! Hope you are well and if in good luck will come across this review, which is little long but worth reading. We travelled Jaisalmer on 19th Nov'2021 mainly for desert camp stay and booked in advance - *Wild heritage desert camp* after talking and looking at tent stays photos sent to us by the so said owner Unad khan. We had actually booked the stay for 2 family size tents (5ppl) on booking.com for Rs. 6,000 but Unad suggested to cancel it and book directly with him for rs. 7,500/- (for 5ppl) for same tents as that would be inclusive of cultural dance, camel ride etc. otherwise we would have to pay extra there for all these. So we cancelled the online booking and booked offline by gpaying him advance of rs 2,000. The location sent to us was haywire and totally wrong and we had to ask locals for the direction. Finally when we reached our destination, we saw the name of the camp was *Sky desert safari camp*.. for a moment we felt it was a scam which happened with us later but Unad greeted us and told us that the owner of this camp are in partnership and the name *Wild Heritage* is not allowed to put on board by government but you will served very nicely here. However, we were looted as we were charged extravagantly EXTRA for camel and jeep safari...Initially asked us for additional rs. 2500 per person but later settled down to rs. 1600 per person (ideally the rate over there is rs.1000 per person, which we found later). Although we had paid for camel safari, we were charged extra there. Also, there were no extra charge for cultural dance program even if we would have booked it online. The full payment was taken from us at doorstep before we saw the tents. After we entered, we saw the tents were the ordinary one and not the family tents we booked and also the bed quality were so cheap that it got broke. After informing the camp staff, there were so rude and arrogant and abusive that didn't allot us the other tent and we had to adjust by sleeping on ground. Also, there were water issues at night and early morning. We're attaching the pictures of everything so that the travellers take an informed decision and never book Wild Heritage Desert Camp or Sky Desert Safari Camp. They just loot ppl by misguiding them. It's waste of money and more importantly you'll spoil your desert camp stay experience.
