If you want to stay close to Dunes, this is a good option. The tent I stayed in was big enough for 3 people and was clean. Food served was good. Booked a jeep safari through them which was good. Washroom was big and clean however some fittings needs some repair and maintenance. Hot water supply was available in the morning. The best part about the resort is their staff members. Quick service by good humble individuals.

We chose sunrise after a lot of research and found our decision to be perfect. We actually have a 15 month child and was given a free upgrade to a luxury tent, warm water, milk and food for the child whenever we asked for. Service is incredible. The manager Bilal Khan and his team are doing a commendable job. I recommend this place to everyone who is thinking of booking a camp in the Desert. Jeep Safari is a must during Sunset. Camel safari is an out of the world experience during early morning sunrise time. Food is traditional Rajasthani fare simple and good. Overall would definitely visit again.

The resort is really good and pet friendly. I travelled with my cat and the tent are really good. Food is average. Sunset can be scene from the reception’s terrace. Do not book the desert safari from the resort, you can get the safari from outside at a cheaper price and they will show you around more. The evening dance program was good. Overall experience was good.

It was a 2 nights stay at this property. For 1st day they gave us the cottage instead of tent as the tent was not available at that time. I personally, did not liked the cottage but on 2nd day we were shifted to the tent. The stay in the tent was great. Ambiance of the property was also good. Cultural event starts from around 7 PM and snacks were also serviced during the event.
Hot water timings are from 7 AM to 9 Am. Breakfast is from 9 AM, till it ends. Dinner timing also starts from 9 PM till 10 or 10:30 PM. Cars can be parked in front of your cottage or tent. Overall, it was a great stay.

Very good resort and good hospitality by Barkat bhai.
They gives free camel safari and even the setup is new.
Near to the main road
Food is excellent traditional rajastani food
Even you will get travel assistant via him on responsible rates

This room wouldn’t be worth 100 rupees also . Such bad rooms and what they show in photos it’s not 1% of theirs . Smelly rooms and so such bad service . I travelled so much in Jaisalmer but never seen such people who show something and give something else .

We had an amazing family stay at Sunrise Desert Camp. The service was exceptional, with Barkat Khan and the team always ready to assist us with a smile. We were warmly welcomed with cultural activities and delicious snacks, which made the experience even more memorable. While the bathrooms could be a bit more cleaner, we understand the challenges of water consumption in a desert environment. Overall, a great place for families to enjoy and exceptional hospitality!

The place is about 43km from Jaisalmer fort. One can easily get here by 2 wheeler/cab(call the resort for commute from Jaisalmer if required - I travelled with a 2 wheeler) The food and accommodation is top notch. You can get jeep safari/ parasailing/quad buke details from the reception.

Good place to get the real desert experience. The tents and amenities are comfortable. Food is just satisfactory. They arranged cultural program in the evening to relax. Hookah and drinks were also available. They even arrange desert safari in jeeps and on camels. Filling station (Essar) is just 2 km away in case you need petrol or diesel. Located very close to the Sam sand dunes - walkable from the camp.
