Planned a trip after almost 2 1/2 years, and was very apprehensive. But Thottada Beach House turned out to be the perfect choice... Right on a secluded beach lined with palm tress and big rocks that appear and disappear with tide. Parking is a little far away, but the short walk is worth the ambience, and the luggage was carried in a wheel barrow by the staff. Beautiful and spacious cottages and amazing food with a lot of tasty sea-food. Excellent hospitality- flexible, friendly and easy. Felt pampered and totally relaxed. Close to many tourist attractions with auto rikshaws on call that arrive exactly on time. Loved the stay.

Great food, great accomodation. Very flexible with the guest requirements. Best ambience with secluded beach. Stayed for 2 nights 3days. Would recommend to others too. Bit away from the parking area, has to work on that

Thotada Beach house is very nice place with the private Beach kind of option. The beach water clear and the food is delicious. Each and every staff is very friendly and cooperative. Would like to make another visit with family. Thanks ranjith for wonderful new year eve

This was the perfect place for our Staycation + Bridal Shower surprise party. The ambience in the evening was so surreal. They had set up a candle light dinner for us and all the variety of sea foods were really good. It included dishes like ghee rice, roti, crab roast, chicken curry, a spicy chicken dish, prawns fry, dal curry, fish pollichathu, a sweet at the end etc. The breakfast was also good and it included fresh juiice, cut fruits, toast, jam, honey, omlette, puttu and green peas curry. Really enjoyed the food and the time spent there. Hoping to go back sometime in near future.

The view is unmatched, the food exemplary. For foodies in my family this ticks all the boxes to having a satisfactory break. Ranjith and his team run a very efficient setup. They are pet friendly too. The rooms are clean, well maintained and have enough amenities The food will leave you wanting more The views will top it off by ensuring you plan the next visit even before you have left. The beach is secluded and very clean. You'll need guidance to reach the place first time around, but the team has this down to a very short , crisp list of directions.

This is located in a quiet corners of Thottada...surrounded by trees you wake up to the beautiful chirping of birds. The beach is just minute walk away. It’s as soon as saying the beach house has a private beach. The rooms are quiet spacious. FOOD IS COMMENDABLE. I would always return back for their food. Yummieeeeeee😋 Ranjith the host is very friendly person, who is extremely supportive. Their help is Prasad who is also very helpful boy. If you are travelling by car you will have to park it away from this place and walk. Safe parking indeed. You need to cuddle into nature and no other agenda other than bask in the glory of greenery and beach n get your timely food go here you will totally love it. Cheers to Ranjith and his team.

This was my second visit to Kannur in the space of 20 days. On both the occasions our base camp was on @Kizhunnapara Beach. We just fell in love with this part of the world and so no wonder we were here twice within a span of 20 days. We stayed @Thottada Beach House run by a n amazingly hospitable host Ranjith. The accommodation here are excellent and the place is maintained very well. They serve Authentic kerala delicacies and for sea food lovers this is Heavenly. The best part we found was none of the dishes were repeated during our stay. Renjith n his amazing chef(she) would always seek our preference. The Beach is just 20mtrs away and you hardly find people on weekdays except for the local fishermen.The beach is free from litter. I have read a lot about people complaining on the accessibility of this beach house from the parking place, its a good 5 minutes walk through a pathway. We did not find any challenges wrt to this during day as well as in the night. The place is safe even for families n couples. If you are an adventure buff, you have a option of doing sea Kayaking which is just 20min drive from this place. THIS IS A PLACE WE HAVE DECIDED TO STICK IF WE ARE VISITING THIS PART OF KERALA. …

Amazing cottages which is clean and neat. Well maintained stay. Mr Ranjith the owner is very friendly and takes good care. Food is tasty and variety of sea food spread.. Best place to stay if planning for north Kerala coast. Beach is within few meters from the stay.

Excellent and clean rooms, amazing & homely sea food, cottages are beach facing, friendly and jovial owner( Mr. Ranjith). What more....a must visit place! Just 2 hours drive from Coorg. Perfect place rather than going to Mangalore or Gokarna.
